Ordering and delivery perfect was slightly disappointing with the thickness of the salmon but maybe that’s because it is organic ?

I have always liked and preferred to buy my salmon portions in 10's. Over the years this has proved extremely difficult as various reliable companies have ceased trading or stocking/selling the box of 10. Then I came across The FISH SOCIETY and I am one happy OAP all over again. Great size, fantastic quality and swift delivery. 10/10 for my TEN SALMON PORTIONS. Thank you.

The Fish Society has always been my 'go to' for seafood since I discovered them many moons moons ago. I have not been able to get the same satisfaction from anywhere else, even if I needed just an item of seafood. The items are so fresh and well packaged and the service is superb - from all the srages: ordering, prompt customer service, and dead on time delivery. Simply the best!

I have had a very difficult time getting a reply to various emails after a delivery of very substandard tuna, and some open packets of prawns. I am still waiting on a reply...

Can't say I'm a convert. Thought getting fish delivered might save me some stress over Christmas, as I don't get time off work over the holidays. Order didn't arrive on its scheduled day, and instead presumably sat in the back of van overnight, and was then delivered the following evening, well after DPDs scheduled delivery window. I moved my day around to be home to receive some half defrosted fish, and had to jump through the hoops of talking to an overly peppy, patronising AI bot before I was allowed to speak to a real person. The fish may well still be edible, we'll find out on Christmas day I guess, but the overall experience means I certainly won't rush to use this service again. Added an extra star because they did refund my delivery fee when I asked (twice).

I was assured in writing that my delivery date could be changed and would be changed after I mistakenly didn’t change the default. This was because I had to try twice to check out. I had no where to put it in my freezer and I departed the next day on holiday to Spain. I was told I’d asked the AI the wrong question and basically to “suck it up”. £40s worth of smoked salmon down the drain. When I get a moment I’m informing trading standards.

Unfortunately my order arrived a day late and had defrosted so it couldn’t be eaten. Only three small ice bags had been used to keep it cool despite the long journey. I tried to contact the company a few times to explain the situation but no one answered the phone and the only contact I could make was via an AI assistant. I have now been reimbursed fully but will not be ordering from this company again.

Excellent smoked salmon, dry good value for money - bought side weighing 1kg, prompt delivery, dry good packaging. Cut into two and putbitninbrge freezer until Xmas. Couldn't ask for more. Product quality, logistics & communications second to none. Highly recommend.
