Really disappointed. Parcel arrived 12 days after order, despite assurance of 2-5 days. Missed the gift deadline. Useless now

I bought 11 mugs, spending just under 200 pounds. One mug, which happened to be my favourite, had a defect in the porcelain right from the start. Since i was recovering from serious illness and major surgery, I didn't get round to reporting the defect until 1 month after the 3-month return window had closed. Temptation gifts was within their right to not replace my mug, but i felt that it was rather mean of them, when i had bought so many mugs from them.

Thank you for your review. Having checked our emails, i'm afraid that we have not received an email from your regarding this. I am sorry that your order has not yet arrived. I can confirm that we dispatched your order on the 7th of January. Unfortunately on the 11th we were informed by Royal Mail that a Cyber Attack occurred targeting them. This halted all international shipping going from the UK using Royal Mail Airmail. The latest update on 18th was that the international parcels in the system are now being processed and have started moving again, albeit very slowly I’m afraid. The tracking, however, is not being updated as they are concentrating on getting the parcels out for delivery at this stage. I apologise for any inconvenience caused by this delay. Unfortunatly "Temptation Gifts" don't delivery to me the parcel! I ave paied for a cup, a mug, that never arrived to me. Order Number *101140808 date January the IV 2023 The worst situation in my internet buier experience. Until now: thumb down. I'm waiting. I belive in "Temptation Gifts" Strongness and honesty.

As advised in our email to you earlier today, I can confirm we dispatched your order on the 4th of January, unfortunately Royal Mail reported on the 11th that they had been the target of a Cyber Attack. This has halted all international shipping going from the UK using Royal Mail Airmail ever since, as the issue has yet to be resolved. The latest update yesterday is that the parcels in the system and now moving again, albeit slowly I’m afraid. I ordered what I thought were 4 Terramundi pots as Christmas presents having purchased a number of these saving pots from Temptations for a number of years. The total cos was £100.92. When the order arrived l was very disappointed because they no longer stock the original Terramundi pots (apparently, Terramundi as a business no longer exists) however, Temptations are producing the similar looking pots under their own name. However, their pots are of very poor quality when compared the original Terramundi pots in that they are very thing and lightweight. However, they are charging the same price, if not more than the cost of an original Terramundi pot. I really feel that as a customer I have been misled and due to the personalisation I had carried out, I was stuck with them. I complained to Temptations stating that I felt misled but their response was not one which left me feeling compelled to write a more positive review I’m afraid.

Thank you for your review. we are sorry that you are disappointed with the pots. While these pots are similar to the Terramundi pots, there are differences, however we don’t advertise or suggest that these are the same as the Terramundi pots we previously sold, unfortunately Terramundi are no longer trading. I see from your previous email to our customer service that one of your pots was spelled incorrectly,as ordered, however , as in our email correspondance, if you would like to place a new order for this pot, as a gesture of goodwill, we are happy to personalise for free and offer free standard delivery. I didn't get my parcel as I found that the price to send the parcel was more expensive that the parcel itself ! Is it due to the Brexit ? It's sad because european from the continent will not order in UK as the price for sending is too expensive ! I am still waiting for my refund. Regards.

Hi Olivier, Thank you for your review. Since Brexit, all orders being shipped to EU countries are now subject to customs tax and charges, the exact amount is determined by customs and excise in the country of destination, and unfortunately, these are beyond our control. We are unable to arrange a system of delivery to the EU which means that the customer does not have to pay vat/local sales tax and or duty on the goods. , if your delivery is being made by FedEx, our chosen international courier, FedEx will usually notify you of any fee to pay either on the morning of delivery or at the point of delivery. However, as in our international delivery information, in our experience, the implementation of additional fees on international deliveries is somewhat haphazard and varies from country to country, so we are unable to estimate what, if any, fees may be charged to you. We, therefore, recommend visiting your government’s customs and import website for further information if you are concerned. Thank you for yourreview regarding your recent order. I can see that your order was prepared for dispatch on the 29th November and collected by Royal Mail on the 2nd December with standard delivery expected to arrive in 2-5 working days from dispatch. I’m afraid that it has regrettably been caught up in the ongoing Royal Mail industrial strike action on 24th and 25th and then the 30th, 1st, 9th and 11th. Unfortunately many of our parcels have been delayed which I appreciate is extremely frustrating. I have checked the tracking ID; 3704313710011CB8979C4 and can see that the order is still unfortunately awaiting delivery. Please be assured your order is with Royal Mail. If we are notified by Royal Mail that there is a problem with the delivery, we will advise, however now post is moving again, we should hopefully see a change to the tracking status and I would hope you could receive your parcel shortly. Unfortunately a poor experience to date that persists with no view to an end ! Goods were apparently dispatched but not received by the Royal Mail and after two weeks of being told to wait I have called and emailed and still have no update for when or how the matter will be resolved. Very disappointing and considering I am a new customer it doesn’t bode well…

Thank you for your review regarding your recent order. I can see that your order was dispatched on the 29th November but delivery was sadly delayed due to the ongoing Royal Mail strike action. I have had a look at the tracking information with ID; FF161586882GB, and this shows your order was delivered on the morning of 13th December 2022 so hopefully you are now in receipt of your order. 0rdered 2 Dunoon mugs with medium boxes and 2 Dunoon mugs with large boxes. I did not receive the large boxes. Contacted customer service to send me the missing boxes as all four mugs were Xmas gifts. They refused and refunded the minimal cost of the boxes I then requested to return 2 mugs since I will not give them as gifts without the boxes since it "cheapens" the gift. They advised I must pay return shipping! They failed customer service 101 and i am stuck with the mugs I no longer want.

I received the package of what I ordered thinking it was a 15 or 18 inch tall vase that I could actually use for long-stemmed flowers. Tell me how to return this dinky thing back to you for a full refund. I am very disappointed! Denise Sage
