I ordered from Temptation because they were the preferred seller of Dunoon. Unfortunately, two of my four cups were not packaged properly and arrived shattered. The two broken ones were laying in the bottom of the box while the two intact cups were standing up (no damage to the box exterior at all). They were quick to refund the cups and a nominal shipping fee, but Temptation won't replace them without a new order and a new shipping fee (more than the refund). As a preferred seller, they got this one wrong.

Hello Sharon, thanks you for your review, i am very sorry that 2 of your mugs arrived broken. I am afraid that due to the high cost of international shipping, we have a strict policy of giving refunds in cases such as these, rather than resending the stock. We are always keen to make amends to our customers where possible but regrettably resending orders internationally simply is not a viable option for us, therefore on this occasion we refunded you for the mugs and an additional part refund for the shipping to reflect the lower cost of your order. The gifts themselves were fine but the packaging was too much plastic. I would not order again from them until this is addressed.

Hello, Thank you very much for your review. I can confirm that both the cardboard boxes and tissue paper are recyclable through normal curb- side collections. Bubble wrap and the air bags can usually be recycled through your local ‘Household Waste and Recycling Centres’, please visit your local council website for further details on recycling in your area. While I was happy with my eco purchases I was not happy with the non eco way in which they were packed, paper bags wrapped in bubble wrap ,ribbon wrapped in bubble wrap was absolutely crazy do much plastic packaging used for no reason !!! Nothing I ordered was breakable so it needed no plastic at all to protect it! Will not use them again for this reason.

Thank you for your email enquiry. We endeavor to ensure that all our orders are shipped in the most environmentally friendly condition possible. As such, all fragile items (such as mugs and glass jar candles) are packed in paper tissue and recyclable small bubble wrap. Our boxes are all recyclable cardboard, which we then seal with paper tape. Only are airbags and large bubble wrap cannot be recycled, however we recommend keeping this for reuse which we do for all packaging material we received with our returns. I ordered a xmas gift for a friend, candle burner and 4 yankee tarts, and paid for it to be gift wrapped, when it arrived it felt very lightweight, opened it to discover no tarts, phoned to complain and was asked are you sure the tarts are not in the box, NO, Grudgingly they are going to send out the 4 tarts, i asked for refund on the gift wrapping, can you imagine my shame if i ever found out my friend only received the burner, plus when i bought it , it was £14.99 next day it was reduced to £11 69 so moral of this story dont get gift wrapped as you dont know whats missing

Regrettably from time to time we make a mistake and pick the wrong item, for this we apologise, we do not take this lightly and we are always working to improve our processes to try and stop these kind of errors. We generally do not gift-wrap entire orders, unless specified by our customers. However this is a process we are looking into to make clearer for future. Your missing wax melt tarts have been shipped to you from our warehouse today, and are expected to arrive within 1-3 working. Hello Temptation Gifts Team, I love buying Dunoon mugs from you, for my family and friends in USA. Unfortunately, the only available delivery option is an express delivery by FedEx, which is extremely expensive costing more than the mug itself. Wrong items sent unfortunately and when I informed them they offered to send the correct items but couldn't take the others back as they were opened! Nevertheless I have had the product before and was very happy with it

Sadly, while the product received was very similar, same price etc, it wasn’t the scent of Yankee candle I ordered. It’s okay, but the new scent is not as good as the one it replaced.

Sorry not too happy. Delivery was only with DPD possible and cost a fortune. But it was fast I admit. The mugs are beautiful

Les tasses sont magnifiques, la livraison est rapide mais je regrette que les frais de port pour la France (plus de 39 euros pour 4 tasses) coûte presque le prix de 2 tasses. C'est exagéré! Je ne recommanderai plus. Margot.

Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic we have suspended our standard international delivery service, Royal Mail Airmail, and are currently shipping all international orders via FedEx. This is a much quicker and more reliable delivery service. I cannot confirm when we will be returning to our Royal Mail Airmail service. I had no issue with the items bought but the amount of unnecessary packaging used is completely unacceptable in this day and age... ! Consequently I won’t be ordering from them again....

We try very hard to ensure that all items are sent out with the appropriate amount of packaging to ensure that the item arrives safely, and if the amount of packaging used is excessive, we of course like to know so that we can ensure more training is given where necessary to stop wastage. I can advise that the bubble-wrap and air bags are fully recyclable in your plastic curb side collection, though this might not be the same for international customers like yourself. Please be assured that we take the use of plastic, and the environmental implications seriously, and welcome all feedback, good or bad, so that we can continually improve all that we do and look forward to updating our customers on our packaging improvements as soon as possible. Came in plenty of time and product is as described. Wouldn’t order from this company again as the postage and packaging wasn’t acceptable came and it was ripped and was opened and damaged before royal received item.

Thank you for your review. Here at Temptation Gifts we take the environment seriously. As a company we are aware that we have a responsibility to do all we can to minimise our impact on the environment, and we are proud of our commitment to improve our “green” credentials and to work on solutions to reduce our carbon footprint. As per our Environmental Policy, the things we are now doing are: - For the vast majority of our orders we use 100% recyclable cardboard boxes - The gummed paper tape we use on our boxes is also fully recyclable - The tissue paper we use is 100% recycled acid free paper made from virgin wood pulp from sustainable sources - When we do need to use plastic packaging (for smaller, or softer gifts that do not require cardboard boxes), wherever possible we ensure it is fully recyclable and reusable - We have completely stopped using jiffy bags as they are not recyclable Please see the link below for more information: https://www.temptationgifts.com/environmental-policy Hopefully this puts your mind at ease when receiving future orders. Although I was mistakenly charged twice for my order , the refund was quick but not for the full amount I was charged. I was not impressed with what I’m assuming was a service charge. Not my mistake!!!

Hello Mark, Thank you for your review. I am sorry to hear that the Poppyfield Blue Henley Shape Mug that you bought has now cracked. This will almost certainly be due to Thermal Shock (Splitting through rapid expansion). Dunoon recommend " Avoid pouring boiling water directly into fine cups and mugs. Always put the milk in first, or if you do not take milk, pour the water over the back of a teaspoon." While I appreciate Temptation Gifts shipping to the United States I have to say that the packing of the items was horrible. In fact I lost 2 of the 4 glass sleeves. I think that if they were properly packaged I would have received all 4. Other than that, the company has been fantastic in working with me to refund my money and again I am SO appreciative of them even shipping to the US.

after spending £40 on 2 cup for gifts, I find they dont come with boxes so didn't give them as gift in the end. apparently you can pay extra for boxes but this is not clearly shown. will not buy from again.
