Teletext Holidays (trading as teletextholidays.co.uk) is under the new ownership and management of Teletext Travel Ltd, having acquired the necessary intellectual property (IP) from the liquidators of the former owners Teletext Ltd. As an independent entity, we want to clarify that we have no affiliations with the previously known Truly Travel Ltd or Teletext Ltd, both of which entered liquidation in 2021 and 2023, respectively. Following their liquidation, they were acquired by Teletext Travel Ltd.

They lie to you. Told us the hotel was as 20 minutes from airport so wouldn’t cost much. We arrived and it was 49 minutes away, other side of the island so cost £200. Had our flights blocked so spent a day sorting this while on holiday. Worked out so much more expensive as we had to pay extra for flights even though the man advised we didn’t have to

the bad experience i had was from the beginning until the last payment. i was told at the beginning that, on the holiday package was the transportation from the airport to the hotel and return, as soon as I payed the deposit on the confirmation booking was not included. had to pay extra £160 for it and calling 4-times. one of the names on the booking was misspelt as well, I called about 3-times to change that and waiting 1-hour on the call, every time I spoke to some one the were saying, yes, changed waiting for confirmation nothing changed had to call again and again. in general is okay but you need to be on top of it and check everything before travel.

After initial problems with holidays showing one price then a much higher price when going to book the agent eventually got one that was just within the price I was originally quoted. Will probably not use again if I experienced the same problem.

I got a good price of Veda and Sam. Sam was very helpful and patient with waiting for me to send reply. Sam reassured me my holiday will be great and said i will use teletext holidays again. as this was my first time. thanks again both of you x

A brilliant and easy conversation with Sami, the teletext sales rep. He went out of his way to look for flights and then re look when I changed my mind on dates! He answered every question and put an anxious traveller at ease. He was easy to talk to, efficient and sorted everything out. Quickest and easiest holiday I’ve booked. Would definitely recommend!

Tarun was exceptionally helpful in helping me secure the same holiday and flight for my friend who only decided to join us in Turkey now. He was patient and thorough, ensuring that everything was up to our taste. I will recommend Teletext holidays anytime.

I spent 1 hour 54 minutes patiently for the customer advisor to look for a holiday for Us and 3 kids aged 17,16 and 9. He told us he’d found a 4* Hotel and for an extra night. I checked the photos and they looked nice! I checked the first 2 reviews and again it was good so I said book please and at this point it was 10pm. Today we looked again and to our horror we saw it wasn’t a 4* it was a 2*! I’ve phoned up and spoke to his colleague asking for a call back and now 3 hours later nothing.. This is miss selling holidays and ABTA will be notified if I don’t get a response again soon!

I decided to call for a last minute holiday. Sam dealt with my enquiry, and was brilliant at sourcing a great deal to Tenerife. He was very helpful and figuring out where was suitable, correct flights and even an upgrade to a better room. Initially I looked online, however, using Sam I managed to save a lot more money and go through the process stress free! THANK YOU SAM 😊
