As an independent entity, we want to clarify that we have no affiliations with the previously known Truly Travel Ltd or Teletext Ltd, both of which entered liquidation in 2021 and 2023, respectively. Following their liquidation, they were acquired by Teletext Travel Ltd.

Spoke to sarkar originally who charged me almost 6000 for a holiday.. I specifically asked for atleast 1 or 2 checked luggage alongside hand luggage suitcase to take on the plane which i was informed was 8kg. Booked the holiday and then he told me - did not have any checked luggage . Fought for 3-4 hours for it to be added . Next day I went on Pegasus app .. behold they had not booked my ticket!!! Rang several times and finally they did a different booking cause they missed me off .. and then the worst part - they have not give me hand luggage they expect 6 people to go on holiday with no hand luggage or checked baggge even though I consistently told them I needed hand luggage with 3 children under 6 ! and with a connecting flight . for a week they have been ignoring me . Transferring me - messing with my sanity.. false promises to tell me they are not going to give it me .. absolutely ridiculous- spoke to GAVIN, Sasha , Kenneth and vyshnvi - asked to be spoken to a manager for 3 days straight these managers are in meetings and unable to speak all day! Still waiting for a call to resolve this.. my 2 year old also has no luggage for a 10 hour flight .. I don’t know how they expect me to change clothes and nappies !!! Still awaiting calls to be listened to - they came back to me already and said no they can’t add hand luggage they ‘listened to the calls’ now they are attempting again .. let’s see now - cause me sleepless nights , stress and blood pressure problems

Totally mis sold a holiday to Morocco. Gave the worst hotels, in terms of hygiene, service, faults and mould. Don't reply to emails or help in anyway to rectify. Say one thing whist selling the holiday on the phone, till you have parted with your money. When you ring with further queries, the person that initially sold you the vist (in my case- Nitin) will conviniently never be available. Seems like an elaborate scam. Totally ruined a 2 week family holiday. Please avoid this company. Wouldn't even give them a zero.

I left a 5-star review 4 days ago because they kept asking me to rate them after every call — but I’m taking it back. After paying thousands for a family holiday, I had to chase them across departments for days to get basic confirmation emails and payment receipts. At one point, I even received a warning that my holiday would be cancelled after I had paid. The whole process was messy, unprofessional, and stressful. I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone. The only reason they have so many good reviews is because people leave them before the real problems begin. I don’t recommend this company.

They lie to you. Told us the hotel was as 20 minutes from airport so wouldn’t cost much. We arrived and it was 49 minutes away, other side of the island so cost £200. Had our flights blocked so spent a day sorting this while on holiday. Worked out so much more expensive as we had to pay extra for flights even though the man advised we didn’t have to

the bad experience i had was from the beginning until the last payment. i was told at the beginning that, on the holiday package was the transportation from the airport to the hotel and return, as soon as I payed the deposit on the confirmation booking was not included. had to pay extra £160 for it and calling 4-times. one of the names on the booking was misspelt as well, I called about 3-times to change that and waiting 1-hour on the call, every time I spoke to some one the were saying, yes, changed waiting for confirmation nothing changed had to call again and again. in general is okay but you need to be on top of it and check everything before travel.

I paid for the room upgrade over three hours ago and haven’t had confirmation or even an acknowledgement that I have paid.

I spent 1 hour 54 minutes patiently for the customer advisor to look for a holiday for Us and 3 kids aged 17,16 and 9. He told us he’d found a 4* Hotel and for an extra night. I checked the photos and they looked nice! I checked the first 2 reviews and again it was good so I said book please and at this point it was 10pm. Today we looked again and to our horror we saw it wasn’t a 4* it was a 2*! I’ve phoned up and spoke to his colleague asking for a call back and now 3 hours later nothing.. This is miss selling holidays and ABTA will be notified if I don’t get a response again soon!

The whole process has been not great. Rang up booked a package paid a deposit. Then got called that afternoon to say that the price had gone up by nearly £1000 as the accommodation was not available. I asked to cancel. They then called me back later on to say that if I paid £400 extra then all was ok. I still said no cancel. They then offered me to just pay £50 extra to which point I said ok. Paid the first installment on time and now paid the second installment early. It’s now over 48 hours later; and 4 calls in to customer services later; and still no confirmation of full payment made and the booking vouchers confirming flights, accommodation and private transfer. Why is it so slow and difficult. Having used teletext a few years ago with no issues this process has left me with little to no confidence in teletext holidays going forward. No one wants to call you back or send you the bookings unless they want to call you and ask for more money.

Everything went really well, up until the point holiday was paid for waiting for final confirmation email, got call price increasing by £70. Was waiting for call from manager, no call. When I called representative left for the day, and might get a call back on Monday. Feel so disappointed that paid for a holiday, and have to know wait for couple day until issue gets sorted. Alway heads very good experience booking with teletext, but not this time.

I regret leaving a good review after booking my holiday with Teletext. I had assumed the service received from the sales team was a consistent across Teletext. I was wrong. Book your holiday with them if you are sure you don't need customer service!! This is the worst customer service I have ever, ever, ever come across. All they do is apologize for their failures and make empty promises to rectify it. None of the five people I have spoken to today have followed through and produced my final documents! Sales team all smiles and cordiality, because they want you to buy a service from them after that it's all downhill. Rubbish service, made me feel I was dealing with a group of scammers! I won't be recommending or using them again. The last person I spoke to, who also promised the documents within half-an- hour was Andy and I'm still waiting, nearly 1 hour later.

Money taken and no holiday booked! I rang teletext holidays with the intention of booking a summer holiday. I went through a couple of hotels and flights I was interested in with the operator. I was sent 3 emails confirming the names of passengers, DOB & flight times. I then paid the deposit for the holiday agreed and flights, incl' transfers and baggage. I was informed once this was done and paid I would receive all the booking confirmation through email. Then the operator informed me he would end the call and send everything through ASAP, at this time it was 8.30pm and they closed at 10pm - I was told this would arrive before the close of business that day. Nothing arrived so I called them the next morning, when I was informed someone would call me back. That afternoon the same operator (Krishna) I had spoke to, to make the booking called me and said that the flights hadn't been confirmed so no booking was made and this was only a booking code whilst flights were released. I said that this was not the case as he had already emailed me the flight times and I was not satisfied with this. I either want the holiday booked or a refund. He informed me he would get onto the booking and call me back. 8pm that evening again I had heard nothing, nor received an email so called again. I was told the booking wasn't made so I insisted I wanted a refund and was put through to another department. I was asked to give sort code & account number for refund and told this would take 3 days, despite paying by card. I also asked for an email confirming the refund was made. Again nothing. 5 days later - no refund or email. I have called teletext holidays 2/3 times daily and are constantly informed the email will be sent and yet still no refund or email! Going forward, I have contacted my bank to gain the money back, who will claim this back from teletext holidays. Disgusted at their lack of support and service and will never use again.

I have been waiting for my refund for nearly 3 years now this is a joke all they do is give me fake dates and nothing eslse now the phone numbers dont even work

My holiday was cancelled in May 2020. It is November 2021 and I am still waiting for my refund. Every time I call them, they would give me false hope with a fake date of when I can expect my refund just to get me off the phone. Now I hear they have liquidated and closed down. I do not have any hopes of ever getting my refund despite being "ATOL Protected"

They still owe my refund from March 2019. I haven been lied to numerous times and will never use them again as they do not have any customer care.
