Teletext Holidays (trading as teletextholidays.co.uk) is under the new ownership and management of Teletext Travel Ltd, having acquired the necessary intellectual property (IP) from the liquidators of the former owners Teletext Ltd. As an independent entity, we want to clarify that we have no affiliations with the previously known Truly Travel Ltd or Teletext Ltd, both of which entered liquidation in 2021 and 2023, respectively. Following their liquidation, they were acquired by Teletext Travel Ltd.

“I been researching Holidays as a Pensioner Couple to try for the best value for money and get some Healthful Winter Sun each year. We have lol a half dozen Aps to search thru. Well Teletext has always been on my radar for Value holidays and came up trumps for this November. Coronavirus Permitting lol. Very helpful Customer Service and patience with older people i can surely Recommend Teletext Holidays. And even Free Transfers!”

“The price advertised is not even close to the price you actually pay. They did reduce the price a little but I was still left feeling a bit conned. I had promised the holiday to my daughter so I carried on with it anyway but I was still offered no real explanation as to why it was so much more than advertised, they just said that the price I saw was the start price.”

Hi Robert, We are sorry to read your concerns with regards to the prices shown on the website. We do try to provide the best possible service to all our customers and your feedback is appreciated. To clarify, we use suppliers live systems for flights and accommodation and prices are always fluctuating so the live price would be confirmed to you when you call our sales department. Being honest with our customers is our priority and we do advise about live pricing at various places on our website, “Prices change regularly, please call now for the live price”. Further, any optional extras such as baggage, transfers etc are not included in the advertised price and are optional the price shown is for accommodation and flights again as advised on the website. “Do not book with this company. I have been waiting almost 2 weeks for my refund after my flight was cancelled. My emails have been ignored. I called and was told someone will get back to me. No one did. I’ve just had a live chat and was told I need to wait for my money. This is unacceptable. I need my money back to book a new one. The customer service is awful. Once they have your money they don’t care.”
