Teletext Holidays (trading as teletextholidays.co.uk) is under the new ownership and management of Teletext Travel Ltd, having acquired the necessary intellectual property (IP) from the liquidators of the former owners Teletext Ltd. As an independent entity, we want to clarify that we have no affiliations with the previously known Truly Travel Ltd or Teletext Ltd, both of which entered liquidation in 2021 and 2023, respectively. Following their liquidation, they were acquired by Teletext Travel Ltd.

“Prices were significantly higher than advertised on the website - I had to change my dates and still ended up paying about £50 more than the quote. That being said, the price was still extremely cheap and the booking process was quite easy, although I did get the sense that I was being deliberately misled a couple of times (for example, when I requested our ‘free transfers’ were removed, the price mysteriously went down) Worth a punt if you can deal with a pushy salesperson but don’t bother calling if you’re not good at giving a firm ‘no’”

Hi, We are sorry to read your concerns with regards to the prices shown on the website. We do try to provide the best possible service to all our customers and your feedback is appreciated. To clarify, we use suppliers live systems for flights and accommodation and prices are always fluctuating so the live price would be confirmed to you when you call our sales department. Being honest with our customers is our priority and we do advise about live pricing at various places on our website, “Prices change regularly, please call now for the live price”. Further, any optional extras such as baggage, transfers etc are not included in the advertised price and are optional the price shown is for accommodation and flights again as advised on the website. “Disappointed that the holiday was not available at the price advertised. It took over 50 minutes on the phone to book the holiday although the customer service was good it was very time consuming.”
