Teletext Holidays (trading as teletextholidays.co.uk) is under the new ownership and management of Teletext Travel Ltd, having acquired the necessary intellectual property (IP) from the liquidators of the former owners Teletext Ltd. As an independent entity, we want to clarify that we have no affiliations with the previously known Truly Travel Ltd or Teletext Ltd, both of which entered liquidation in 2021 and 2023, respectively. Following their liquidation, they were acquired by Teletext Travel Ltd.

“I recently bought a holiday for two to Morocco from teletext holidays and the girl was lovely. I kept changing my mind and she was so patient she had to call me back three times and even realised it was my birthday coming up soon and wished me happy birthday! I was looking online all day and were the best value by far x”

“Very good value and good speedy service, not had any problems with holidays or bookings so far. Use online prices as guide only, they are never the true price. Will happily use again.”

“Do not book with them!! This website is a con! My brother called up to book a holiday. He paid the deposit and they then told him the price of the holiday has doubled. Now they won’t refund the money and he is devastated. He’s saved for over a year and they have basically bankrupted him. Absolutely shocking.”

“found the staff at first helpful but when we called back for some changes to be made we got no support and just found them to be unhelpful. We had to wait nearly an hour to get the alterations to be made and even now we have not received the confirmation we would get within three working days . It is now a week later and we are worried as we have not received the documents we were told were going to be confirmed . I would not use them again”

“I have phoned Teletext Holidays on 3 occasions to book. Each time, the actual price, before luggage and transfers was in the region of £150 more than advertised.. If I book with other companies I pay the advertised price. I'm told it's because of fluctuations in booking. This makes no sense. I have found the same holiday cheaper on a good few occasions.”

Hi, We are sorry to read your concerns with regards to the prices shown on the website. We use suppliers live systems for flights and accommodation and prices are always fluctuating so the live price would be confirmed to you when you call our sales department. Being honest with our customers is our priority and we do advise about live pricing at various places on our website, “Prices change regularly, please call now for the live price” and as you mentioned any optional extras such as baggage, transfers etc are not included in the advertised price and are optional. The price shown is for accommodation and flights again as advised on the website. Hope this helps. Best Wishes Becky

“I booked my holiday over the phone with Teletext holidays. The agent was absolutely marvellous, She sent me various holiday options,and rang me back quite a few times. I was impressed with her professionalism and her manners. I've never used Teetext Holidays before ,but now I would have no hesitation in using them again. I have booked two weeks in the Canary Islands, Please thank your agent " Geethika " for the polite and professionalism way she conducted the service. Very impressed . John Macphail”

“They sold me a holiday there the distance between the airport and the hotel is 90km. I didn't realise at the moment and I wanted to cancel the holiday within 3 days. But, couldn't. Cancellation fee is way too expensive. Couldn't speak to a manager, they said that they will call me back in 24-48 hours, but nothing. Bad services overall, nothing is possible, no advise, the amendments departments did not help at all. I do not recommand. It's like fake holiday, not teletext holiday. The holiday was advertised at £500 and 55% discount but the real time price was £645 for the same period. So, not quite accurate and definitely not cheap.”
