“My experience with TEFL.Org was a amazing and much better than expected. I started off unsure and uneasy with everything but as time went on I grew more and more confident. There was plenty of information that I knew as a native English speaker but also some that was new to me. The various techniques, resources, and classroom video examples were very helpful to have me think and learn ways to implement different ideas. This program was amazing and big thanks to my tutor/grader Alex.”

“I thought the course was very thorough and more interesting than I thought it would be. My tutor was nice and very helpful. I had to redo two assignments- one because I didn’t have a free enough production exercise- and another one because of the homework on the telephone teaching course. I enjoyed doing the quizzes. Maybe you could recommend some books- particularly about phonetics. And go into more about how to gauge someone’s level before you start teaching them. I thought the course was good value for money and would consider doing another course with tefl. It may be better if you gave us the learning agreement at the start of the course. Thank you. “I was a little disappointed that feedback from the written assignments was limited to 2/3 sentences and the rest of the feedback had been copied and pasted - lots of which wasn’t relevant to me. Also I found the video on VYL games, in which the teacher runs out of ideas and so uses his mobile phone to search for more, incredibly unprofessional. What kind of example is this setting to new teachers? The rest of the course was interesting and easy to navigate.”

“The practicum course was great and just what I needed. I thought it could have benefitted from being a couple of hours longer, maybe each session could have been three hours with a break in between. Richard was great but should have had a better laptop.”
