“I loved the structured, clear way this course was laid out. I also appreciated that the course tutor asked for revisions on my lessons, as it taught me a lot. It was also so fun to follow the same students through all the video examples, as I feel I got to know them.”

“I recently completed the TEFL Org's 120-hour online course. The class was well organized and addressed many different aspects of English instruction, with sections on teaching large classes and teaching students online. I do wish there were more modules in the video observation section, as watching actual classes helped me to understand how all of the content explained in the course is used in real time in the classroom. In any case, I felt the course content was thorough, and it has prepared me enough that I can start teaching English classes of my own.”

“The 120 hour online course is comprehensive and contains well devised assignments that are an excellent test of a student's grasp of the course material. Tutors assess the assignment without much delay and provide helpful feedback. The website contains valuable information for signed up students who, having passed the course, want to enter and navigate the EFL job market.”

“I found the course to be most comprehensive and thorough, I was very surprised when I got my certificate and saw just how much I'd become qualified in. Therefore, I would say that the course was indeed great value for money. The support from my course tutor was most important and very helpful. The time given to complete the course was more than enough (I completed mine with five weeks to spare, even though I am terminally ill). Thank you TEFL for making me into an English teacher, now I can work all over the world without even leaving my own home.”

“It was an amazing experience with a lot of great material. Demonstrations and videos with lessons are very informative and helpful. Our live presentations during the Live Session are the most exciting part of the course. But the most important thing is to feel the teachers' support that I experienced all the time. Thank you so much for your great job.”

“Hello, the course is good, although the assignments leave wondering what to do or how to start and some required knowledfe that did not always apear to be delivered in the previouse modules. I would recomend going through them from a customer perspective who does not know anything about tefle as i did and make assignments clearer and with more support. The 2 day turnaround on tutor help and marking is poor. Mine did not contact ne back after 3 enails and only responded to website contact once after 2 days. I had to also waite 2 days for my assignments to be marked which dies not help.”

It does sound that there might have been an issue with your direct emails perhaps not reaching them, as this delay is very unusual. “The 188-hour Level 5 TEFL/TESOL Certification course was extremely thorough. I learned so much, and so many useful tools were given on how to teach and elicit information to students. As a native English speaker, so much of this is not taught and I learned so much. Feedback from my Tutor, Thomas, was very specific and helpful for future planning. I would not be able to teach English as a language without this course.”

“Hi, The course is great, the only thing that could improve for me is if the live classes could be booked at the end of the training, as I hadn't done any of the courses when I was asked to book the live classes. I didn't know what most of the things we were talking about were, such as PPP or STT and I think I could have done much better in the live class if I had gone in at the end of my course and not at the beginning. But it is a great, very comprehensive, and interesting course. Thank you! Silvia”

“As a former elementary classroom teacher, I signed up for the TEFL level 5, thinking it would be a review of what I've been taught, and my experience. Surprisingly, I learned so much! Some things were a review, as expected. However, considering my background consists of a B.S. and M.A. in education, and hundreds of hours of inservice points and workshops from my 14 years of teaching in the classroom, I came across concepts and teaching structures that I had not heard before, including the PPP format. This format follows a system many teachers use, but I feel it should be colloquial teacher lingo, and at least for me, it was unknown. I appreciated the courses at on this level and the detail to teaching suggestions and ideas. Nonetheless, at some points information needs to be updated, and several quiz responses I felt were specific to Tthe U.K., or U.K.'s English, hence, not necessarily applicable to English used in the U.S. All in all, I found it to be a pretty exceptional program that can prepare anyone interested in teaching English, regardless of his professional background. Personally, my purpose for the certification is to teach English within the U.S. to international students, contrary to teaching overseas. At least, not yet. However, if that opportunity is in my future, I'm confident I'll be ready. I salute you for a great program! FL, USA”

“I found the courses to be very rewarding, the information gained was far more than I expected when I started. It is full credit to the teachers and your company, for how the lessons were laid out and presented. To be honest, without the information and support given in every module, I would have struggled to get the pass I did. Instead, I enjoyed the challenge and the learning experience. Thank you one and all. I will not hesitate to recommend the TEFL online lessons to all and sundry.”

“I have enjoyed my journey learning to teach English as a foreign language on TEFL.org.uk. The 188h has provided me with a broad variety of new skills and knowledge to help students in their English learning. My tutor Thomas was always very responsive and kind. I want to highlight the 20h teaching face to face was amazingly fun and helpful. I have met wonderful people there. TEFL is a great step to start and/or improve your teaching abilities. “I thought the review was supposed to be about the particular course that I have done, not about the TEFL Org in general. I found the "How to promote your online lessons" course very shallow. It barely covers how to promote, it mostly covers social media apps and tools, which we all know about. Moreover, the majority of the media suggested that are not the best for the purpose.”
