“The course was great, it was engaging and the videos were easy to follow as well. The only thing I did not like is the Tutor response time. I had tutor Thomas and he responded to only one email, and I sent maybe 5-6 emails. His feedbsck on assignments was good, but he did not answer my questions via email. That is something that has to be fixed. Overall, great experience”

“This was an informative and helpful course for me. I had lots of practice under my belt but was running into difficulties helping students because I couldn't pinpoint what their problems were. Now I have a clearer understanding of how to proceed. I feel more confident because I am now more competent as a teacher. Thank you, TEFL.org!”

“I have enjoyed the experience. The course was clearly structured and my tutor Joanna has been a great help; giving detailed feedback and answering all queries I’ve had along the way. The classroom course was fun, engaging and very helpful. I enjoyed meeting other TEFL students. However, having completed the course I still don’t feel completely ready to undertake the role of teaching English, that is my only concern. The gap between completion and actual teaching feels a bit hazy and with that comes a few nerves/doubts. I still lack a bit of confidence in my understanding of the course and ability to teach. That said, I’m sure this is part of the process. I am still in touch with my tutor who is offering further advice to address these concerns. I imagine with a bit of revision, watching the TEFL videos online and beginning the process of contacting potential employers I will slowly grow in confidence and bridge this gap. Overall, I was happy with the course and would recommend TEFL.org. Thanks. Matt”

“The coursework is intensive and requires more than the suggested dedicated hours of study. Teachers are knowledgeable. Examples are helpful. The "coaching" and comments on written assignment is useless.”

“Great course I really enjoyed it! I might have preferred to add on some work experience to solidify all I learnt but all in all it was a great set up, easy to follow and it has prepared me for my new chapter as an english teacher”

“I did the TEFL 100 hr online + 20 hr classroom course. I found the online course very well presented and interesting. It was broken down into manageable sections and the end of section quizzes helped to consolidate understanding. I thought the video lessons were particularly helpful to give good examples of teaching. The classroom course was similarly well structured and paced and delivered very professionally. I'm really glad that I took this course.”

“Overall great teacher! However, I was very disappointed at the design quality of the certificate. It literally looks like my child’s Art course certificate. Please spend some time to make the cert look more official, design-wise. (e.g., gold embossing of the logo)”

Hi Steven, Thank you for your feedback. I can see that you have only received the emailed PDF certificate so far, which can't possibly include embossing. Our hard-copy certificates, which are professionally printed, do certainly have a watermark and hologram though. I see this is currently on it's way to you now, so you should receive this soon.
