“I appreciated the structure of the course which allows you to go through it at your own pace, the bite-sized videos (they are easier to follow and take notes like that), but most of all I appreciated all the wonderful suggestions my tutor, Thomas, left at the end of every assignment. Thank you.”

“The TEFL courses need better structuring. If the courses were arranged in ascending levels of importance or relevance I would have learnt more and learnt better. Students should be advised in the order in which they take the course. Also, the videos are borrring! (emphasis). Video angles, audio and lesson structure definitely needs to be better especially with the high cost of the TEFL courses. I don't think there is value for money here. Unfortunately I had recommended a friend at the beginning who took the course with me and our experiences are comparable. Quite a mundane course.”

“TEFLOrg was an amazing course. The video demonstrations were excellent and provided great ideas for teaching English. The one area that was challenging for me was the emphasis on grammar. As a teacher, I understand the need to understand the rules of grammar. However, learning English will really depend on how the grammar is presented.”

“I am very happy with the TEFL course I just completed. The Lessons were easy to follow. The additional webinars are very useful and informative. The only thing missing is the "next steps". I have signed up for the on line teaching practicum which I think will help me. I need to do some more reading/research on the TEFL website as I am sure there is information there that will guide me.”

“The course was very good. At times I felt that some of the questions on the quizzes were not covered by the content in the modules but the quizzes were passable. The PPP lessons writing were challenging but it was doable and I learned from them.”

“TEFL.Org was a good experience. Their website was easy to use. Their content is professional looking and detailed. Their courses give a good reminder of English grammar and provide a lot of the needed knowledge to become a quality teacher. “Too much learning online, some things don't make sense. Need interaction with others and chance to ask questions etc. Classroom based stuff was out of sync, would have been good to know how you start teaching a new group or people for the first time, how it all works, not just endless PPP and Skills. What do you teach? Colours? Objects? Didn't get to find out more on last day. Want to feel confident going to a language school and knowing how it works, but don't at all.”

As an online course provider, we would not be able to make changes to how our classes are delivered. We do also recommend that the in-person element of our course be completed near the end, as it's a great way of consolidating the theory studied online. “I enjoyed very much the 120hr TEFL course. It was in-depth and covered everything I would need to know to begin teaching English in Italy. The course tutor, Asif, was very helpful and offered good feedback and assistance with the assignments. The only consideration I would offer is to allow a slightly higher word count for the assignments. Overall a great course. Thank you!”

“I believed that the exam preparation course was very helpful to me in terms of furthering my understanding of and experience helping students prepare for English exams given by various bodies to finish the syllabus. I thought that taking the extended course had aided me in achieving my goal of working in education and helping students learn how to use English for themselves, and would recommend it to others seek similar goals.”
