“I thoroughly enjoyed the course, especially, planning and teaching a lesson to my classmates. It was a invaluable lesson. And Richard was a great teacher. He reviewed with us the online teaching methods and gave us examples to refer to. After teaching each lesson, he gave us helpful feedbacks to consider in preparing and teaching lessons. Two regrets I have from the course: one, not enough time and two, too early...3am. Otherwise I thought this was well worth course.”

“I studied the 120 hour premiere TEFL course. It was comprehensive and engaging. It was easy to work through, and my tutor was attentive and responsive. His feedback was both clear and constructive. He also offered suggestions for progression, and on his advice I have already started the exam preperation course. I also made sure I kept TEFL 'support' up-to-date with my progression as I was close to the expiry date. The team were helpful and quick to respond. I've also received some timely, and very useful follow up support. All in all, a great experience, and great end to end service. Thank you, a very inspired TEFL graduate !”

“Level 5 TEFL Diploma Review: A Comprehensive Course with Room for Further Development I recently completed the Level 5 TEFL Diploma, which includes four key modules: Grammar, Methodology, Teaching Large Classes, and Telephone Teaching. Overall, I found the course to be incredibly valuable, offering a thorough foundation in essential areas of teaching English as a foreign language. Here’s a breakdown of my thoughts on each module: Grammar Course: The Grammar module was excellent. It was both clear and comprehensive, providing a solid understanding of English grammar rules and how to teach them effectively. The course content was engaging and presented in a way that made complex concepts more accessible. This was definitely one of my favourite parts of the diploma. Methodology Course: The Methodology course was another standout. It covered a variety of teaching methods and approaches, which I found really useful. I appreciated the insights on different strategies for engaging students and adapting lessons to their needs. However, I do feel that the course could go deeper into lesson planning, particularly in relation to using a coursebook. There was limited exploration of how a teacher can personalize lessons with a coursebook in hand, both from the perspective of the student’s and the teacher’s coursebooks. More detailed guidance on structuring and planning lessons using the coursebook would be beneficial for future teachers. Teaching Large Classes: The module on Teaching Large Classes was interesting and offered some helpful strategies for managing larger groups effectively. While I did find the information valuable, I felt that the content could be expanded with more practical examples and exercises that reflect real-life classroom situations. Telephone (Online) Teaching: The Telephone Teaching module was useful, but I think it could benefit from more in-depth content. Specifically, a demo of an actual online class would have been helpful to visualize how the lessons are delivered remotely. Additionally, tips on using platforms like Zoom (and how to incorporate visuals during lessons) would be a valuable addition. There’s certainly room to enhance this module with more practical advice on online teaching tools. One-to-One Teaching: I would have also liked to see more focus on one-to-one teaching and how to effectively plan lessons for individual students. There was some mention of lesson planning, but more detailed ideas and practical examples—perhaps even a demo—would have been beneficial in helping to prepare for one-on-one teaching scenarios. One highlight of the course was the needs analysis demo. It was an excellent addition, providing a real-world approach to understanding students’ individual learning needs. This was definitely an aspect of the course that I found extremely useful. Support & Tutor Feedback: The support throughout the course has been fantastic. Thomas, who provided ongoing assistance, was always available, even after I completed the course. He consistently offered tips, ideas, and suggestions on where to find extra resources, which I really appreciated. My tutor Alex was also exceptional—his replies were always quick, and his feedback was both efficient and professional. His support truly helped me throughout the course, making it even more rewarding. In conclusion, the Level 5 TEFL Diploma provided a solid foundation in teaching English as a foreign language, with particularly strong modules in Grammar and Methodology. While there’s room for improvement in areas like lesson planning, one-to-one teaching, and online class demos, the overall content was informative and valuable. With excellent support from Thomas and efficient, professional tutoring from Alex, I would highly recommend this course to anyone looking to gain a comprehensive understanding of TEFL. It’s a great course that has set me up for success in my teaching career.”

“I started TEFL with lots of doubts since online classes can be overwhelming. However, since day 1 of my class,everything was great !Lessons were easy to navigate and a very good review and my tutor was very detailed when it comes to her corrections and suggestions. “Overall everything was fine just the last module ''telephone class'' where it wasn't any video to show how the teacher and student can interfere to each other to understand more on watching a video then reading lots of description.I'm a visual person i would understand more when i visualised a video then reading perhaps both.”

“I took the 200 hour Diploma course and had to extend it twice due to ill health getting in the way, so it took me 10 months to complete. The course subjects were straightforward and the exams were not too challenging. I do think that some of the word counts could be better though. There are some aspects I'm still not 100% sure of but I will research and continue adding to my knowledge through books etc. My plan is to teach online and start up my own teaching business in order that I can travel and teach remotely. The chat section was very easy to use and always had someone with good information to answer any questions. I was questioned over one exam as to whether I had used AI to generate the answers which made me feel a little annoyed. ALL of my work done on the course was my own work but I can understand in the present times that some people might not be honest. I noticed recently that the course is being advertised for half the price I paid which is unfortunate but I've passed and now the world is my lobster.”

“Integrating myself into a minority community, I realised the difficulties that foreigners deal with in the UK, simple tasks such as signing their children up to school and making new friends. Naturally, TEFL was the first choice and seemed the most sensible place to start. The course was straightforward, videos were plentiful and easy to follow, and the support from my tutor was fantastic (shout out to Thomas!) Ahead of each end of unit assessment, you are advised what you should go back to read up on which I found very useful. I am only educated to GCSE level, so I did find some of the written assignments tricky. I had to teach myself how to analyse text and answer in detailed summary. Delighted to have passed and now I can continue on with my life mission of helping people to find their voice and manage life here in the UK.”

“Positives: - The structure of each diploma is very clear and easy to follow. - The feedback from my tutor was always very detailed, which helped me to focus onto the weaker parts of my answer to improve it. - The non-graded quizzes were very helpful to consolidate what had just been studied - assignments were marked very quickly - the demonstration videos helped to bring the concepts to life Negatives: - The model answers given for some tasks after doing the graded assignments were always longer than the word count given to the student for that question. Writing more concisely was a tricky skill to develop for me, so the model answers made me think it wasn’t possible to answer properly in the word count given. - The graded quiz questions in the telephone teaching diploma were difficult to understand. The double negatives in the questions confused me, and were frustrating to answer. I couldn’t focus on the information that the question wanted from me because I was struggling to understand the question in the first place, and so it did not feel like a beneficial task. The majority of the other quizzes throughout the course were not like this, there was only a few instances of this in other sections. Overall I loved my TEFL course!”

“The process to complete my TEFL certification with TEFL Org was such a gratifying experience. “I found the TEFL course very good. It was welll organized, easily leading to deep learning. The video exemplars gave real life examples of the verbal lessons, which was an excellent way to present the material.
