“The TEFL Org course provided practical solutions for teaching large classes, such as using students as monitors and promoting creative student interaction. I appreciated the clear guidance on seating arrangements and group activities, which made the content feel directly applicable to real-life teaching scenarios. The course gave me confidence in my teaching abilities and highlighted areas where I could support schools in improving their methods. However, the course could be enhanced by incorporating the PPP method more explicitly, improving video audio quality, and diversifying quiz formats to reflect classroom applications better.”

“The 120-hour course was a breeze. I could work at my own pace and review parts I needed to focus on. It was very helpful and thorough. Well worth the low price. It took me 11 days and provided me with plenty of resources and support. My only qualm was the recorded voice was A.I.-generated and often made mistakes in English pronunciation. But I feel ready to teach. Thank you to Jenny O'Sullivan for responding promptly to my questions.”

“The TEFL course was very good indeed and i am proud of myself for having chosen it.I learned so much about each area of teaching minutely.Even the more complex topics seemed easier to follow through the videos and the explantion given in them.I greatly enjoyed the course in terms of instructions that were provided. “I chose TEFL.org after about two weeks of researching. It’s pretty well priced, about mid range of all the courses available, and one of the only ones That people seemed to consistently review as “not a scam”. I got a more thorough education through this course than I thought I would. The very first unit on grammar was a very, very effective refresher, and I even learned some things that I hadn’t known, grammar rules that I knew instinctually, but didn’t know were rules. The methodology unit was definitely challenging, and very effective in teaching me how to structure a TEFL lesson. But not so challenging that it was anywhere near impossible. I have seen some mixed reviews about the tutors people get assigned on this course, and have seen that apparently whether or not you pass or fail, written assignments easily is entirely dependent on what tutor you get. That is not ideal, and they should have a more consistent standard by which to grade, however I have very few complaints about my tutor. She was fair and consistent for the most part and gave me pretty good feedback, my only real complaint would be that she could improve on telling me what I did well, not just what I did wrong. Because knowing what I succeeded in helps just as much in future lesson planning. And there was one particular lesson that I had to go back and rewrite multiple times because, in her words, I was too vague, but then the examples she gave me were just as if not more vague than the lesson plan I wrote, so passing that particular assignment was less about writing an effective lesson plan and more about writing a lesson plan that she was personally happy with. But that was not the experience all around altogether. I am more confident than I thought I would be about jumping into TEFL work. I have not yet used the job support but plan on it in the next few days.”

“I enjoyed the course and the video lessons were really well explained. There was a particular teacher ( I don't remember the name) who I enjoyed the most especially when he explained all the present and past continuous. The only thing you need to improve, It is your customer service and I think the tutor took a bit longer to reply. Apart from that I will definitely recommend your course.”

“Overall I really enjoyed the course, I learnt a lot despite already having a teaching qualification which was brilliant and received great feedback from my tutor Alex. Only slight negative was sometimes the videos on class ideas weren’t the best in my opinion and I occasionally found it difficult to differentiate each element of PPP lessons.”

“Generally I have found TEFL to be very good indeed. I didn't really know what to expect since I've never studied for any qualification online before, so my expectations were somewhat neutral leaning towards pessimistic! It was not always clear who to contact for what problem but, nevertheless, once contact was made everyone was extremely helpful and quick to resolve the issues. The level 5 combined 220 hour diploma was very thorough and very well explained using the different modes of communication. However, I did find at times that a few of the quizz questions were somewhat ambiguous and, therefore, a little misleading. This was particularly the case with the telephone teaching module for which I left feedback. I have now just started the business teaching course since that will be my focus. I look forward to some others that you offer as well. I haven't yet looked into your jobs board or checked out all your resources but that will happen soon when I plan my entry into the teaching world. I am sure, then, that I will have further feedback to give, but I am extremely happy to be forever part of tefl.org and able to access these hugely helpful resources. Thank you. P.S. The 2-day in-person teaching was excellent (I confess, much to my surprise and delight!).”
