“The TEFL qualification provides a solid foundation of the essential knowledge needed for teaching. However, it doesn’t cover everything. Most schools will have their own specific teaching methods and may require you to adapt, which is completely fine because TEFL equips you with the core principles. My main issue with learning TEFL online is that it can be quite monotonous and uninspiring, even if you are passionate about teaching. The lack of variety in the design, such as the color scheme and layout, doesn’t help the experience either. Nevertheless, the content itself is very useful. If you stay focused on your goal and where you want to be upon completion, it’s definitely manageable. The tutors provide valuable advice and insights into lesson planning and classroom management, which can be incredibly helpful. Moreover, TEFL’s job placement network is a great resource, especially since finding a job independently can be quite challenging. Overall, I believe the TEFL course offers good value for the money. I would recommend it, but I do think there is room for improvement in making the material more engaging. It's somewhat ironic that a course designed for teaching professionals is itself rather dry. Hopefully, the TEFL organization will take this feedback into account and make future updates to enhance the learning experience.”

“A fun engaging course with easy to digest material. This is a good way to dip your toes into teaching English without going all the way. There is lots of material that will teach you not only grammar and vocabulary, but how to teach these as well.”

“Majority of the course was fine, however for the few assignments I did need to resubmit, there was minimal feedback with copy and paste of the asigmwnt criteria.”

“The teaching methods taught in this course were great! I do hope that they could include more grammar teaching in the course tho. Some of the lessons weren't entirely clear and organized so I had to do a little research myself to understand them fully. My tutor, Angie, was friendly and enthusiastic! She provided me with great feedback and useful teaching tips throughout the course. Overall, I believe this is a good course especially for beginner like me. It's a good start to understand more about being an English tutor and the potential teaching methods.”

“The course is pretty complete and gives the information required to be able to teach English. There are some little spelling errors in the written paragraphs, but nothing that serious. The Classroom Lessons are a good complement as we can watch the topics from the theory but put into practice, which helps a lot. Also the tutors' help is great, because with their help and feedbacks I got to be able to make better lesson plans for the future. It was a great experience and makes me really happy to be part of this course. Thank you.”

“It was great! Seemed short at the beginning but as you get into the methodology you learn alot and equally spend more time. It would be nice if the certificates had a cooler design.”

“I have learnt a lot through this course. I found most of the information very valuable. Conversely, I found some malfunction errors having to repeat some of the quizzes or go back to some slides because they were not marked as seen/done, which was pretty annoying. I think if those errors are corrected, the user experience will improve greatly.”

“Very well done. Tutors were quite helpful and good organization of topics. However the questions/modules should be rephrased in order to be clear. Additionally labeling the attachments or organising them alongside the questions would be perfect. Contact me if you'd like help.”

“I enjoyed the 120-hour course and found it to be informative. The tutor feedback was thorough and helpful, especially regarding earlier assignments (later assignments could have maybe used some more feedback or advice). My biggest issue is with your website: often when loading a page, the previously loaded page would appear instead, forcing me to reload regularly.”
