“Very well done. Tutors were quite helpful and good organization of topics. However the questions/modules should be rephrased in order to be clear. Additionally labeling the attachments or organising them alongside the questions would be perfect. Contact me if you'd like help.”

“I enjoyed the 120-hour course and found it to be informative. The tutor feedback was thorough and helpful, especially regarding earlier assignments (later assignments could have maybe used some more feedback or advice). My biggest issue is with your website: often when loading a page, the previously loaded page would appear instead, forcing me to reload regularly.”

“The course was well made, simple to understand. Some quizzes felt like not needed to be honest because they were just too common sense and wasted time. Overall, great course. The part i loved the most was the real human feedback on my assignments”

“I would give the whole course 3.5 stars The content was well structured and explained feedback to assignment was provided and well assessed some of the videos appear outdated and teaching practice is completely neglected Overall the course is good for the start 😃”

“I really appreciate taking this TEFL Course. First of all, I love self pace learning. And this course allows me to download the videos and files as well. I have learnt the essential elements and more knowledge I should know as a teacher. The Methodology Module is the key learning for me here where I learnt about drawing a lesson plans on using PPP and for skill learning as well. I also learnt about how to organise a class, making lesson more engaging using games and fun activities for learning English. These are really important in today's world teaching. It also has other modules like, Video Observation Modules, teaching Large Classes and telephone teaching. The abit challenging part was doing the assignment. But I was helped much by my tutor who marks my assingment within a short time and gave me very helpful feedback. The online zoom session helps me more creative and gave me confidence in delivering the lessons. Thank you TEFL team for your Great Work! I really enjoyed the whole course. Anita”

“I completed the 120 hour course. Video demonstrations of classes are very helpful for teaching students, and the course focuses on many key aspects of the classroom. I am a qualified teacher myself and teach foreign languages to students in a school. I always strive to give formative feedback which balances positivity and constructive criticism— I found that my tutor focused largely on constructive criticism and there was little positivity outside of the standard “good ideas” at the start of each comment. Although the feedback is accurate in pointing out what aspects of lesson plans need specific improvement in order to pass, I think student effort requires acknowledgment. A lack of verbal acknowledgment can discourage students (even adults). As a fellow teacher, I would recommend starting the commentary with a line which outlines something specific that the student did well before delving into what can be improved. Apart from this small recommendation, I am very satisfied with my TEFL experience.”

“Overall, it was a good and enjoyable course and I learnt a lot. However as mine was 100% online, I found that some of the confusion I had was due to the course being100% online and wouldn't have happened in an classroom with direct interaction with a teacher.The telephone teaching course for example was especially confusing to me because 'telephone' and 'online' were used interchangeably and I didn't know at the time if some of the rules referred to '100% telephone lessons' or 'face to face voIP lessons'. All of these are minor things because the course was mainly brilliant, my tutor was helpful in answering my questions and patient with me. The classroom video examples were so much fun to watch and the natural 'hosts' such as Kirsty and Ines did a wonderful job in front of the camera!”

“Like so much online learning, a huge focus on knowledge, but little on skills, attitudes or behaviours (in terms of being practically able to demonstrate them). As I say, this is a criticism of so much online learning, rather than this course. In order to give the opportunity to demonstrate skills, there would need to be synchronous face-to-face (virtual) contact with learners and a qualified tutor, which would be hellish to administer and prohibitively expensive for the learner. As offered, the course offers quite astoundingly good VFM, as it's simply packed with information. I made copious notes as I went along, which was time consuming but worth it. I think I got what I put in - which is the case with all learning. Many thanks to Asif, who provided excellent and timely feedback.”

“I took the 120-hour TEFL course. The course was easy to follow and complete, contents were useful and my tutor's feedback was helpful. There were little mistakes in the transcripts, but everything else was very accurate and user-friendly. I appreciated the possibility to download the course at the end of each module. The certificate was issued immediately after completion. I am very satisfied, I was able to take a certification in a short time with little money.”

“I learned a lot and had plenty of help from the tutors. The tutors were super friendly, very understanding and amazingly helpful. My only critique is the questions for written/text assignments were a bit vague in what they wanted us to do. Some of the questions for written/text assignments wanted a very specific answer.”

“As someone without any experience teaching, I think that what the course has to offer is a good start. The material isn't demanding but does require focus and attention, making it a good option for people who have time constraints. My tutor gave meaningful feedback and did his best to ensure that I understood the content within each module. Quizzes are pretty easy, but feel too lenient. Assignments, on the other hand, test one's understanding of the material and are easily the most difficult part of the entire program. I enjoyed the challenge though, as they forced me to find creative solutions while adhering to the practices that are taught throughout each module. Overall, I think that The TEFL.org is a good place to start one's TEFL journey if they have no experience and want to gain an understanding of how theory is incorporated.”

“This course was really helpful, and for me as a teacher with near 10 years of experience was like a perfect summary of all my experiences.
