“I really enjoyed the TEFL course! Being a native English speaker living in France, I am often asked to help with English pronunciation, and to explain English expressions and grammar. I had given a few one-to-one English lessons prior to doing the course, but I felt slightly underqualified and unsure of myself as my first degree is in science and not English, and I had no teaching qualification. The TEFL course has given me a greater understanding of English grammar (which we all use automatically but can't necessarily explain). It has also given me a much better idea about how to construct a lesson and to keep it interesting and engaging. The video teaching demonstrations, particularly of Kirsty and Joe, were great and inspiring, and the course was easy to fit in around work as it is self-paced. The feedback from my tutor Joanna was really encouraging and helpful. I feel much more confident and qualified to teach now. Thanks to all the TEFL team!”

“Courses were well structured and easy to follow, while still presenting a lot of new and useful information. Assignments were marked promptly with good feeback. “Felt comprensible, but definitely up to the user to absorb the knowledge and encourages further research. Good resource, sometimes the typing quizzes were annoying and a bit hard to figure out what information was wanted. Although that can be good because it shows what the students may not understand. My tutor who reviewed my work really wanted me to pass and gave me the proper tools to rework my assignments, his name was Stephen. He deserves a raise :)”
