“The courses are a lot of work. I but I do feel prepared to teach English! There are great resources out there as well. The tutors and customer service was great and very responsive.”

“I have thoroughly enjoyed this course, the support I received was excellent from the team members . Alex my tutor was there to support if I needed him. “Overall I was happy with the 40-hr TEFL certificate program. I liked the introduction and demo videos for the various computer apps, but, though you may not feel that it's your job to ensure that we know how to use it, perhaps a simple assignment, creating a brief slide show or other function, using one of them, would be a good idea. Other than that, another small criticism that I would make is that I had hoped, after the course, to better assess the levels of my students. For example, some standard by which to measure their competence levels would help me know if they are on track. Sure, I could just use a text book, and figure out which tenses in which they have fluency, but I thought there might be more info on this.”

“I fell into English instruction after teaching advanced science for many years. While I was hoping to learn the grammar, this course gave me so much more. I learned two new planning structures and several strategies that I had never been come across before. The classroom videos were very helpful as a training tool, and the feedback from my grader was supportive. I have more skills, more confidence, and a better grasp on teaching English now.”

“Although I have been teaching for years, this course was useful and helped to better understand some different points in teaching I didn’t consider, for example teaching large groups. I really enjoyed the assignments as they challenged and encouraged me to keep on track. My tutor was super in giving me advice and the right feedback I needed. Thankful for Steven!”
