“Tefl.org certification courses were very comprehensive and clear. Expectations were clearly set, while the lessons were enriching and informative. Tutors were responsive and kind in their critique. With a TEFL certification I now have options to live aboard while being of service to my new home. Thank you TEFL.org.”

“The TEFL.Org was a very approachable and useful experience, I learnt a great deal about grammer and methodology that I had never before experienced. I also learned much more about teaching and education than I had previously experienced, giving me a greater appreciation for the role of educators in our society. However I do feel some of the grammer and methodology quizzes where a little too easy, and did not properly prepare me for tackling the assessments as seriously as I should have.”

“My experince with The TEFL Org was a positive one. The self-paced nature of it worked well with my schedule and allowed me to complete the modules on the days that worked best for me. My tutor, Johanna, was also very responsive at reviewing my assignments and provided great constructive feedback throughout the course. I believe I am better prepared to teach ESL now that I have taken this course.”

“This online course is flexible for anyone who is very busy withe their schedule. It is very easy to follow and the steps are just in the right gradient for you progress to completion. I learned a lot about teaching English and how to succeed in this field. The teaching methods are interactive, the video demontratrion is very helpful in how many teaching methodologies are applied. Highly recommend this course to anyone.”

“A good mix of both practical and theoretical knowledge. The only critique I have is that I feel like some of the methodology quiz questions were somewhat contextual and up for interpretation.”

“I enjoyed the course. Some of the videos seemed too long to me. This was especially true when they showed teachers working with their students. There's no need to observe a group of students working in pairs or groups. A brief view would suffice for understanding the point, not several minutes. It would be helpful to have the option to speed up or slow down the video depending on how important the material is to me.”

“Everything about the course was lovely! I enjoyed almost all of it except a mechanism that was in all the quizzes. If you got a question incorrect, it would tell you, and you can click the "feedback" button. Unfortunately, there was never any feedback, it was just words that reiterated how you got the question wrong, never explaining why or how. When I reached out to my tutor, they referred me to the support email for TEFL and didn't answer my question. The tutor is grading my work and providing feedback on the written assignments, which is great! I just wish I had a bit more explanation.”

“I enjoyed the course and found the resources materials and assignments challenging and valuable. All assignments were marked quickly with feedback provided. Perhaps some of the videos were quite long but I still found them relevant and useful. I am now retired so looking to teach English online. I wanted to get a basic level of discipline and certification. The methodology and structure is particularly useful. Thank you.”

“I really appreciated how the the structure of the classes set learners up for success and the learning in my classes felt intuitive. I also appreciated the variety of learning material between video observations, instructional videos, and written lessons. I was also grateful that the homework assignments were focused and asked for quality over quantity. Sometimes there were observational videos that were significantly longer than the others, and I was't sure of their purpose and if I was supposed to watch it in its entirety. My teacher, Alan, was very responsive and always gave me valuable feedback on my assignments.”
