“I spoke with Technoworld re pricing and they put me off the competition, telling me they supply European stock, not UK stock. I placed the order, which arrived a few days later, only to find my new monitor was delivered with a European plug, and no UK plug, and the warranty booklet referenced a Turkish website and a Turkish telephone number for support. Very disappointing. They did then work with me to send the missing cables and ensure I had a full UK warranty which is why I have changed the review from 'poor' to 'acceptable', but overall a frustrating experience. I was even asked to ring Dell to request the missing cables... Dell then told me the that they wouldn't deal with me direct because I'd purchased through a retailer and not direct with them, so it would need to be the retailer ringing to resolve any issues. I should not have had to spend the amount I did ringing round trying to get a UK plug for my new equipment!”

“The goods were delivered before the promised date. But you did not invoice me for the purchase until after the carrier made an unsuccessful attempt to deliver. The result was I received the goods a day late.”

“While delivery was very fast and packaging excellent, 1 of the 2 HP X2 convertables I ordered had a different colour top to the base. Lucky my wife isn't as fussy as me or it would have gone back. The other was fine. The 1Tb disk was not recognised on each of the tablets so had to partition and format them (10hrs each!!!). The OS installed on each of the Tablets was at different states, but neither were updatable in the state they arrived in, saying that the update server could not be contacted, and a few other errors. Partly due to a crappy install, but also due to Win10 having more bugs than my car Windscreen. Once I had done a complete reinstall of Win10 from the restore partition, and then made a few slight changes to fix the standard bugs that were still left, and also 'cleaned' the disks of old files, they finally updated correctly. After each update has worked successfully, it is important to do a disk cleanup to remove old update files or you will run out of disk space. Technoworld replied very quickly and politely to my support request email, but suggested I book it into HP to fix which wasn't good. In other words, they just shift the boxes and provide no actual support! This is important to understand, so you know what to expect if you have problem. Would I buy from them again? hmmm, possibly if their prices were better than elsewhere, but not if I wanted to have actual support with my purchase.”

“Good service. Serves a purpose for us. Would welcome further business but we require added value such as prestaging and configuration of items which means that we are unable to do any larger orders with you.”
