“I have bought a couple of blankets from Tartan and they are excellent quality . They do however tend to be a slightly different colour when received than is shown in the online picture. My latest one is particularly poor. It is described as 'charcoal' and shown in the picture as a very dark grey - almost black. The blanket sent is a sort of mid-grey : very nice but not what I wanted. I don't want to return it after waiting so long for it to be in stock but am rather disappointed .”

“I ordered 2 of the Lambswool Blanket Scarf in Mackellar Tartan, one for me and one for my mum for Christmas. I was pleasantly surprised by how soft the Lambswool option is--no need for cashmere when the Lambswool is so amazingly soft and cozy. I am very happy with my purchase. The Blanket Scarf size is perfect, I like to wear it over my shoulders as a shawl for extra warmth and coziness when working from home. My only 2 hang ups were: 1) I was given only one shipping option to Canada which I found to be quite steep at $55CAD; 2) the high tax/duties fee $91.25CAD I had to pay DHL directly. Turned out to be a very expensive purchase: $230 (2 blanket scarfs) + $55.05 (shipping) + $91.25 = $376.30CAD. Especially when you have no idea what the tax/duty bill will end up being at time of purchase. There must be a better way of handling this to be more transparent to the Canadian customer. In short, 5 stars for the product itself, 3 stars for the purchase/shipping experience and high cost.”

“I recently bought a lambswool knee blanket for a friend. The service was first class with the blanket arriving much more quickly than I had anticipated so suddenly receiving a text telling me she had received a beautiful monogrammed blanket I was slightly taken aback. She was absolutely delighted with the blanket and I was equally delighted with the service. Top marks.”

“I ordered a gift box and I'm extremely pleased with it! The personalised blanket is just lovely as are all the other little extras that I ordered with it. The gift box was well packaged and arrived very quickly. There was a little mix up with one of the smaller items I'd ordered but the customer service team was great. They replied to my email straight away and sorted it out! Overall, I highly recommend the Tartan Blanket Co.!!”

“J'ai commandé pour Noël deux écharpes (une normale et un grande) du Tartan Mackenzie, clan dont ma femme est originaire. Colis arrivé sans problème en France. Les écharpes sont toutes douces et donnent une vraie impression de qualité. Très heureux de mon achat !”

“I recently purchased 2 blankets in preparation for the cold Swedish winter. I wasn't sure that the recycled wool would be soft - however I have a vegan daughter who will not use new wool, so it was the only option. And they are gorgeous! We love them, they are soft, warm and beautiful to look at. The customer service was also amazing, with updates on delivery and super speedy service. I loved them so much that I have ordered a couple more for friends for Christmas.”

“Our daughter wanted a long tartan scarf...this is perfect, muted colours, soft texture and a fair price. - plus we ordered the larger size so it really is much longer and wider. Very snuggly.
