“I have had the SMSTS assessment since it first came out, and had mainly used the 3 day refresher route to update. I felt I needed to take the latest course because of changes within the HSAW act over the past 20 years, including the 2015 CDM changes, and I'm glad I made that choice as there were gaps in my working knowledge that have now been filled. Enjoyed the course, didn't enjoy the commute so much but I also didn't wish to do the course online as that is pretty boring I've found, even over the likes of Zoom there are few interactions, and the job was never meant to be a "loner" position. Always useful to bounce ideas.”
