“Many thanks to Lewis at Oxford Caravans for handling the purchase of our second caravan from you. This purchase was due to our first caravan being stolen from storage!!! and just 10 days before we were due to travel. Lewis handled the sale excellently, organised the fitting of the mover and collected this morning, with excellent hand over. Everyone at Tiddington site are excellent, from the sales to the shop and the workshop, thank you to you all and would recommend them, and have, to friends and family.”

“I ordered two new Isabella footrests online. Before being dispatched I received an email to say only one was in stock and I would receive a refund for the second. However one did arrive wrapped in a bin bag and it had foot marks on it, clearly not new. I can only assume it was the show model as it was the last one in stock. So I wont be ordering from them again.”

Hi Mr Dixon. Thanks for your feedback although we find this hard to accept. We do not send out any items for delivery unless they are brand new, instead only selling ex display items in store when the buyer has the opportunity to inspect the goods. To our knowledge this item was new. It was also sent fully bubble wrapped and then placed inside a bin bag and taped. We believe this is a perfectly acceptable method for the delivery of said item.

“The whole team =, from Steve in sales to the shop staff and even young Jack who showed us round the outside of our caravan were all really helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Whilst, in light of the current climate, there was no need to 'push' sales, we got the feeling that this would not have happened in different circumstances. In fact, because of the current conditions with COVID, everyone in the whole place was extremely busy but we were still treated courteously and allowed plenty of time to ask questions and check our understanding of everything, there was no feeling of rush because there were other customers to serve. Thank you to all the staff in the Swindon Centre. Because we live so close to the Swindon site, most of our interaction was face-to-face. Mr & Mrs Dixon, Royal Wootton Bassett”

“A big thank you to Jayden, both Simons and Ian. First time caravan buyers and their help was exceptional. Nothing seemed too much trouble to them. “Nothing was to much trouble for them. This is our first caravan & they helped us so much they even helped us with our awning sizes as we were unsure of what we needed But when we went into the store they showed us exactly what we cld & couldn't have that was so helpful. When we picked the caravan up they were so helpful and showed us everything we needed to know even down to sending a little video recording so if we do forget anything we can watch this again. They even got us extra Keys for the family.. Excellent service”

“We were happy with our initial visit and the sales attention given on the day of purchase. We were given plenty of time to look around and explore the vans on sale and the sales representative (Paul) was very helpful with his advice on the day of the sale. Thereafter we dealt with other members of the team as Paul was mainly not available. Sadly we made the purchase about a month before lock down and therefore the pick up was delayed (no fault at all of Swindon Caravans.) However since our purchase communication and after sales service as been challenging to say the least. We understand that lock down severely effected business but even since the return and following the collection of our new van we have struggled to get replies to communications. Overall we love the van and understand there will be minor niggles with any new caravan. We simply wish it was easier to sort them out.”

“Purchase process was mixed. The sales team were busy and we didn’t feel there was much if any support at the point of buying. A question of is there was anything else we should consider (being new to caravanIn - which the sales person knew) was answered by pointing to the wall display, rather than any discussion of needs. I think the sales executive was new to the job, and on the day just wanted to get sale done. The dispatch of the vehicle could not have been more different ( thanks jack). All questions answered, great personality, and seem to listen to our needs ( which the sales team didn’t). Because of this dispatch performance yes I would go back to Swindon caravans and hope the sales experience was a one off”
