“Very attentive staff from the end of the phone mechanics came out with Fill on time much better than the AA and the RAC would never go back. Recommend anybody give these guys a go.”

“Based on a recent callout and the first call ever to Start. The attitude and response from Start was extremely bad , the couldn't care less attitude was really evident. I obviously contacted Start on a bad day at the office ! Typically of some customer facing companies today, there all too keen to auto renew the policy premiums and attract new business. But when it comes to the point of helping customers with a friendly and positive attitude this was obviously not evident and very much debatable. Duty of care and empathy definitely not shown. Thank goodness this was not a more serious incident otherwise the consequences may have been far greater.”

Hi Andrew, thank you for your feedback. Our renewal prices are partly determined by the vehicle age on cover, as certain age groups of vehicle are more likely to break down. As your vehicle moved into our next age category there was an increase in your renewal price. However, as we value our returning customers, renewal savings are automatically applied to all renewal quotes to ensure that you never pay more than a new customer for equivalent cover with us. “The car broke down in Hereford at our hotel. Your driver arrived believed the noise was discs,sorted a garage less that a mile away who could handle the job and took the car away. It was all done. EXCELLENT. Crisis over”
