“I have just joined and not yet used the service. This review is purely for the price which is competitive and offers additional benefits compared to some of the major competitors. My car is over 30 years old and most companies do not cover cars over 10 years old so I am limited in my choices.”

“When I received a renewal notice from the RAC, I was surprised by the increase in cost from the previous year. Looking at the various comparison sites and reading the What Car magazine review of breakdown policies it would appear that Start Rescue was hughly rated and, at one third of the cost of the RAC policy, I decided to give the former a go”

“Not had a breakdown yet but the process to join is very easy and the process to report a breakdown can either be done online or by the phone, and the price is very competitive. What else do you need.”

We aim to make it clear when purchasing an annual policy with Start Rescue that if you do not wish to continue with the insurance, we will provide a refund of premium paid within the 14 day cooling off period, providing no claim has been made and that should you cancel your policy after the 14 day cooling off period no refund of premium is available. If there is another eligible vehicle kept at the policy address in need of cover, you can change the vehicle covered by your policy to make use of the remaining cover.
