“Rang them on the recommendation of my local garage as I was about to start a road trip round Scotland and needed peace of mind. The one thing I needed was the ability to continue on to my pre-booked accommodation and finish the trip. The one thing all breakdown companies don't do is allow you to complete a preplanned multi stop journey. However, they were very professional, no flannel and efficient. I agreed to their conditions and booked the annual cover in less than 10 minutes. Time will tell if they meet their obligations as I only started the trip today. In the evening of a breakdown, my options are to accept their return to home or have a rental vehicle for up to 72 hours which means I can do another three days and then recover my own car or abandon the remainder of the trip, forfeiting my accomodation costs. I am doing the NC500 and there is clearly a gap in the market for this type of cover as thousands of motorists undertake it each year either in their own cars, camper vans, motorhomes of with a caravan in tow. Look forward to your response.”

“Following 2 recent breakdowns where I had to seek the assistance of StartUp I am pleased to report that in both cases my problems were dealt with efficiently and speedily. I have just renewed my subscription for another year although I am unsure where the rewarding loyalty at renewal takes place.”

“It seems that anthing stated on the web site is to be viewed as suspect. despite re selecting auto renew and updating my details it did not. After receving txt and emails to get in touch urgently after the renewal date advising that l did not follow proceedures and that my confimation email of auto renewal was incorrect. Have not selected auto renewal as you sytem web page seem to uterly flawed and is unreilable”

“I have used Start Rescue for a number of years now and have had to use their services a few times over the years. The service has always been excellent, from the first phone call to getting me back on the road. You choose your contractors well, as every recovery company that you have sent have been polite, helpful, and just generally very pleasant to deal with. I have recommended Start Rescue to many people and advised both my teenage children to purchase their breakdown cover from you when they got their first car.”

“Local garage attended within a couple of hours. This is the second time I have had to call them out - but to different cars. Great service - garage staff friendly and very helful. In general an excellent service which is why I am happy to renew my cover every year.”

“Really excellent company tbh - great unlimited call outs and great bods in person or on phone. And ace prices too - plus loyalty reductions etc - 5 out of 5 (I don't know if it worked when I clicked on the 5 stars above!). Cheers”
