“I cancelled my call out within 5 minutes of phoning them as a neighbour came to help. I was originally told the mechanic was on another job but kept getting phone calls asking for £30 payment, stating he was enroute to my job. It took a week and one sensible phone operative to dismiss this payment.”

“Reliable and caring Breakdown company, which takes customer's needs into account so, that you have the minimum time to wait and their call-handlers will even keep checking in with you if they know you're vulnerable. Also, has a handy app where you can track the breakdown vehicle once it gets within range of you on the GPS system. Coming in at a great price, too, with only minimal annual increases to the premium (pennies/less than a £1), I quite understand why it came 5* Which? recommended when I first joined them a few years ago and I'd also recommend you Start your journey with them, too - You won;t be disappointed.”

“I have recently renewed my Start Rescue breakdown cover. The process is easy although the price increase this year was a tad more than I anticipated. But still good value compared to other providers.”

“Had a breakdown on a Sunday afternoon on the North Circular and was relayed home to the North West. Good communication from Start Rescue and the recovery contractors did a good job getting us back. Nobody wants a breakdown but these guys made it as painless as possible. Thanks”
