When i payed for Startrescue on line 3 star, level 3, the first email i received was about Breakdown repair insurance, why ? I did not ask for it, i was not eligible for it, and it caused confusion. I had to ring your office to confirm i had the cover i had paid for.

I was very dissapointed with the knowledge of the person who sold me this policy and therefore I am going to cancel and go with another company who was able to advise me more as to what their policy involved

Great price and fairly good reviews but major issue. I tried to print off a copy of certificate so my wife could keep in car but site does not have an up to date safety certificate so my internet won't let me open page. It warns me away from page. No issues with any other site I use so have contacted customer service to get them to send me a copy thru post.

The user experience on your website is pretty poor. It is not obvious how to navigate the 6 buttons in the customer centre and some of them lack the required functionality. I had an expired policy that I wanted to restart after changing some details. However this seemed to be impossible despite the user controls suggesting otherwise. In the end I resorted to creating a new account with a different email address.

I am sorry not really able to give a proper review, as fortunately I havent broken down yet and not seen how good you are at the rescue/recovery procedure as stated in terms & conditions (only just bought your policy) Mark Harvey.

The website froze at that all important part when making payment. However all was resolved with a phone call. The Co. gave two phone nos. one a premium no. which it urged customers to use should they have the misfortune to actually need the service they have bought into. To have to pay a premium rate, especially on a mobile phone at a time of distress, stuck in some god-forsaken part of the country, is iniquitous and certainly not good customer service. Sort that out....RIGHT NOW!!

Had trouble getting to the pay page on the company's website - took three attempts before purchase of my breakdown cover successfully went through. Reason for problem not known. Everything else concerning the website, etc, was very good.

Documentation is extensive but unfriendly. I still prefer the old style of receiving a paper policy certificate (single page) with all the relevant information on it, which I can keep in my car along with other insurance documents. The insurer has digitized the whole process to such an extent that it becomes very difficult to locate any particular item of detail without going on line. Now I have to keep telephone numbers separately on my mobile phone, and print out relevant documents for keeping a copy in the car.

It looked like good value, and I signed up only to find that if I wanted roadside repair it would cost another £25, so not good value after all. I cancelled.

I am sorry to be giving this low score review because the product is great and the customer service excellent. However, my online experience nearly lost you a sale. Went through compare the market, accepted quote. Tried to pay with two different cards, site wouldn't accept details. Tried again the next morning, same thing. Phoned was attended too by Craig, great service, polite efficient.

when you say cover starts on a certain day. It should start on that day. Not at 10:50PM

I had to wait almost 2 hours in a supermarket car park waiting for the breakdown help. This has resulted in a £75 fine for overstaying in the car park Not a good experience

looked impressive until had signed up no mention of car being over 10 years old & over 100,000 miles not covered until had committed so would avoid in future better options available

I went onto money supermarket for european cover linked me to your site. Thought I was buying european cover turned out it was uk only. Cancelled the same day. Hayley from your company did call me to confirm cancellation, I did not take cover as my vehicle is 10 years and cannot be covered by your company. Perhaps this should be displayed better by Money supermarket, but also there should be clearer explanations on your site Regards Wayne Platten

It was a struggle to get a policy online. Because I'd had a policy with you before, it said my email address had already been used and would not continue. I phoned up and a helpful young lady deleted my email address from your records. I was then able to get a far as entering my vehicle details, but I have a personalised plate and there was no way to change the vehicle details from the vehicle I had when I took out the previous policy. I had to phone up again to get the original vehicle details deleted, after which it allowed me to complete the new application.
