I had need to call Start Rescue when I broke down on my motorbike last summer. I was in a town centre, mid-afternoon, it took THREE HOURS before assistance came. I was then told complete lies by Start Rescue as for the reason why. This company is NOT recommended.

Renewed my policy and then found the same cover was cheaper on there website than with there 10% discount for renewal. Not happy!,

Internet did not respond to give me the choice of level I needed and keep giving me the different lower level when I bought the lower level then give me the option to raise level with extra more money

Didn't feel special at all just another customer all matter of fact from the call centre representatives. Take it or leave it attitude.

I bought a rescue package online and paid for it. That was yesterday. Now you send me a mail asking for a review. You advertise the package at £33 and when I put the registration in you charge £55. Yes the car is 13 years old but it also only has only covered a genuine 17000 miles. You should take that into account too. Anyway ask me again if I ever have to call on you to rescue me. That is the point that your true value will be determined.

Had a discount promotion code, but when I came to pay there was no where to enter the code. I bet this has happened to many customers, not happy!

I was unable to complete the transaction on the comparison site and had to phone and when I did speak to an advisor I was told to go to start rescue website and complete the application on their website, so I missed out on a meerkat toy

Price initially quoted was not the price we payed. Purchased online and by the time we got to the payment screen the price jumped up by six pounds.

Luckily haven't had to call you out but very disappointed I paid my renewal for my 3 star cover £49.50 but on your homepage my daughter said the same cover was just under £30. Just proves you don't look after your existing customers. Will look more closely next year

Filled in all questions. Read all documents. Agreed. Paid money. Notice re ad-on at £25 appeared on screen just as shutting down. Had quick scan before it disappeared but not up long enough to read comprehensively. Today GONE! ?????

Reasonable priced policy however I've never had to use them so I can't comment if they're any good. Renewal process was a bit of a potch job to be honest. After entering all my details and credit card information, the payment process crashed and I had no idea if the transaction was successful or not. I did not have a confirmation email until the following morning.

The website isn't well designed, I found your price on a comparison site so I clicked on the button to send me to your site to complete the transaction but I couldn't do it because I was already registered as an old customer with your site, so I kept getting the message " your email is in use", which means I couldn't take advantage of the cheaper price on the comparison site. there was no facility to verify who I was and let me log in to start rescue via the comparison site so I could use the price quoted; I had to open a new window and go straight to startrescue website and log on and get a quote and that quote came out more expensive. another issue was that I had a discount code which I entered when I was in the process of paying, the system acknowledged it and gave me a 10% discount but when I paid I found out that there was no discount.

I tried to pay my renewal by internet, I was not able to use my discount code as it did not reduced this in my payment, so I had to call to do the renewal by phone. Altough the assistant was very useful. It is useless to claim that one can renew online when the system does not work. This is the second year in a row that this happens. Poor service.

I found the website confusing when trying to renew online. The steps to take were not very clear, the page was too cluttered so it was hard to see where to go, etc.
