“We have had Start Rescue as our breakdown cover service for a few years. In that time we have not needed to be rescued. What I can comment on is the way in which our cover has been renewed each year. This has always been clear and straightforward and this year was no exception.”

“Start Rescue offers a high-level Breakdown package and I’ve been generally happy with the Support I have received over the years. The one major downside is the company refuses to ensure and support cars with Europe assistance for cars over 10 years old. This means I have to go elsewhere for my main car which I take to our house in France three or four times a year. Other companies such as AA and RAC are not so limiting. This decision or ultimately make me move away to another company.”

“Everything to do with the administration was handled very well and the on line area of the business is good unfortunately I can't give 5 as I've not yet experienced the brakedown recovery size.but 👍”

“Mixed results. I used the service twice over several years. The 1st time they didn't respond to my wife as they said she wasn't covered. I had to drive 20 miles to sort out the car and when I spoke to them later, they agreed she was indeed covered and it was human error. The 2nd time I called them years later, the service was excellent - mechanic arrived within the hour and got the car started. He correctly diagnosed the battery fault and recommended the best local dealer to buy a new battery.”

“I joined Start a couple of days ago joining online. It was very easy to do and all the information was there for which package was required . I obviously can't comment on the breakdown service (which I hope I dont need) but at first glance Start seems to be a very professional company.”
