“Although I haven't had to use the breakdown service, I wouldn't have used any other so I have saved money as I have been a member for over 6 years and they are considerably cheaper than other companies”

“Fast, Efficient, and GOOD VALUE compared to the big boys. We have used START RESCUE several times over the Years we have been with them, with the fastest responce time 20 Minuets. I have allways got Quotes from other Companies and NEVER had any reason to go elswear. My entire Family are now with them as are most of my Friends. Some are tied in to Insurance Prices BUT get the Quote amended for "no breakdown cover" and you will see what the cost realy is and then get a Price from Start Rescue!!!”

“I 've been with Start rescue for a good few years and although I have never had the occasion to use them my relatives have and have been very satisfied so if I do unfortunately have a breakdown I am reassured that their service will be good. On another note the cost for my cover does increase each year as expected however it is very competitive with other providers and I get a loyalty bonus each year which makes it the most economical policy for me.”

“Been with Start Rescue for several years now. Excellent customer service and good pricing. We whad to be rescued from Newport in South Wales back to Shropshire along the M5. Didn't have to wait too long for pick up. Excellent from start to end!”

“I have not had to use StartRescue but hope it does its job well. However, having just changed my car I do not appreciate the 'Arrangement and Administration Fee' of £31.99 added to the premium of £35.19. This is dispropotionate. On next renewal I shall have to check with the opposition.”

Hello, Thank you for your feedback. We took the step last year to be more transparent to customers, with regards to the fees that we apply to policies. The fee is transparently included in any quotation you received from us and detailed separately, whereas, previously the fee was still charged but it was included as part of the overall price for our products. The fee covers general operational overheads which include the overall administration of your breakdown policy, as well as providing the assistance service whenever you need it, 24 hours a day, every day of the year. The amount of the fee will vary based on a number of factors including the type of service a breakdown policy is designed to provide. For example, our vehicle cover prices take into account the age of a vehicle on cover as from experience we know older vehicles are more likely to require assistance. “So far so good. Fortunately have not had to use for rescue. Seem to be well organised and have solid reputation. Much better value than AA. It's insurance isn't it same as you might insure your house against disruptive events”

“Myself and my Daughter car are both covered by Start Rescue, they have proven a valuable Rescue Service , when we required their services they were speedy and efficient in either solving issues or recovery back to a garage or your home. And their 3 star package, Home, Roadside, or Recovery is a must if your looking for a policy when driving. Don't bother looking for another provider, I just tick renew policy.”

“Pros: Good serive for wife during tyre burst. Cons: Cost going up substantially each year diespite no (recent) breakdown calaims for our extremely relieble 2 Hondas.”
