“Have just signed up to Start Rescue for breakdown cover. I found the website very well laid out and the details on different policies clear and easy to follow. The online process for buying a policy was also very slick. Price for a similar level of cover to my previous provider was very competitive.”

“Easy to join and looks like a good app. One disappointment. There is a discount (15%) for new members but it didn't show until after I had joined, in the app. I have sent a message to this effect but no response so far! Hope no more hidden surprises await.”

“The Start Rescue website was easy to use and understand and it was simple to buy cover online. The app was also straight forward to down load to my phone. I have not had a breakdown but my first experience with the company gives me confidence.”

“Can't say much as coverage does not commence till 14th October. All I can say is that the application process online was easy and the resulting documentation I have received was clear and satisfactory. Price was very good for what was being offered and substantisally lower than I had elsewhere for the same cover. Reviews were good also.”

“Frustratingly some links on Google search where difficult to get paste the date of birth entry which when selected defaulted to the current date on a calender , and you could only got back a month at a time, I'm 67 so that's a lot of tapping there was no manual override.”

“One of the few breakdown companies to insure older cars - mine is 20 years old . Also to provide accident breakdown cover as quite a few hide this in the small print! I got a great deal and the application was very easy and efficient. I have used SR for 7 years now and I won't change.”

“We have had a couple of call outs and found them to have been very good efficient and solved the problem quickly. And the fact that Start Rescue reduced the price of our contract renewal, without the usual haggling you have to go through with other companies was a breath of fresh air.”
