We’ve needed you a couple of times and always been very impressed. So much so that as our daughter has just bought her first car, we’ve set her up with Start Rescue too. 🚙

I have not had to use your service for two years now, so based on the two opportunities when I had to in previous years, I must confirm that at that time it was excellent. Hence the reason too that I have not switched to another provider

I have had to call you out in conection with a couple of battery-related problems. The chaps you sent have been efficient, polite and friendly.. But on each occasion there was a significant delay in the time I had to wait because you had my address noted wrongly. I pointed this out to you several times but the correction wasn't made. Please could you check and confirm that my address is noted as 10 Ettrick Road, flat 1, Edinburgh EH10 5BJ. Thank you.

I have luckily not had a breakdown, but I have had a conversation with a customer service agent. I had my renewal fail due to an out of date card. I had a very polite, professional and friendly customer experience. I was made to fell welcome valued and important to him. Great customer experience

Have been rescued on several occasions over around 10 years of membership. Can't fault the UK side of the operation, however the European counterparts have a different approach which left me stuck in a hotel in Spain for 10 days whilst healing with 7 broken ribs and as I found out on my return and admitted to a UK hospital, 1.5L of fluid in my chest cavity, all over a set of panniers that were removed from the bike before it's recovery and the recovery company refused them to be reatached to the bike, they weighed around 30kg of which I was unable to pick up for obvious reasons. I was unaware at the time they had been removed as I was rushed to hospital that the panniers were being removed and stored at the hotel. In the end I arranged for the panniers to be shipped back to the UK at a cost of £130 which due to a misunderstanding with the website I never got a receipt and therefore never got reimbursed for. Once the UK side took over as I traveled back by train it went like clockwork. They arranged an overnight stay in Paris at a Hotel a couple of hundred meters from the station, then the most amazing feat was to arrange for a Dover Taxi to meet me at Calais train station and bring me back to the UK on the ferry. At the time there were no foot passengers on the Ferries and the Eurostar no longer stopped at Ashford and I couldn't fly due to a collapsed lung. The taxi pulled up just as I walked out of the train station which was perfect timing. Other perfect things that happened, I had to use the tracker on my bike to get its location from my hospital bed, I contacted Start Rescue gave them the coordinates and the bike was recovered within 45 minutes which was unbelievable, not only that my bike was then repatriated back to the UK in about 3 weeks after my return. In the end Start Rescue UK turned a bad situation into one with a much better outcome, hence I'm still using them for my car and motorcycle. Just have to remember to get receipts or you won't get remburst your additional outlay.

When I first signed up I had to use the service. My car wouldn't start and I was on a campsite heading out for the day with children. I used the app and had a rescue within 30 mins. He was able to resolve the issue that day. I have been a member ever since.

Well I've been a customer of Start Rescue for a few years! But I've been fortunate not to have needed the service! So I cannot at this time give a true review of the actual breakdown service as I've not required It! But the cost of the service seems to be very competitive! Regards Norman Watt.

Had motorbike breakdown few years ago very close to home. Can’t put a time on how long it took to get to me but it certainly wasn’t a huge amount. Think it was garage at St Just who arrived Happy to take me back home ( literally couple of miles) came out in van secured bike in back all good. I recommend my friends to you just simply based on this experience.

I have been with Start Rescue for several years. In this time I have needed to them out a couple of times, once in Italy and once at home. Both times help arrived in good time and did their best. Neither time was the problem possible to fix on the spot, computer once, battery once. I am sorry that they have a ten year limit on the age if cars because my current 2020 VW Transporter is going to have to last until I no longer want to pull a caravan. They are too dear to keep replacing and EVs hopeless for towing over long distances. My cars are always regularly serviced and looked after. Doesn’t stop breakdowns, tho. Lol

I have had a family Start Rescue plan for many years now, and have always saved money on the annual renewal, on the few occations where it was needed, we had no trouble getting the cars recovered or repaired.

Always there, easy to talk to and they make sure you understand the process fully. They also tend to overestimate arrival times for the mechanic/engineer. Still with them after about a decade or more and I renew every year because of their extremely high service level. Wouldn't dream of going elsewhere.
