“Excellent service after my car had broken down ... had phone calls informing me of what was going to happen and times expected .... have really personal touch ... impressive !”

“Very cheap basic car breakdown cover may be not aswell known as other names but really competitive prices and simple to join would definitely recommend”

“I did have a problem with engine speed reduction and contacted start rescue.There was a 45 minute response time but confusingly 2 separate garages turned up and solved the problem easily. This seemed a waste of resources perhaps procedures need checking.”

Hi, thank you for leaving us a review. Our premiums are affected by the age of the vehicle on cover. As your vehicle moved into our next age category your renewal quote was more expensive this year. However, as we value our existing customers, we ensure that all renewing customers will not pay more than a new customer for equivalent cover. “I had reason to use Start Rescue last year (2024) when both nearside tyres were destroyed in a Dorset pothole. The whole experience of communication, professional call handling and extremely competent recovery driver was a pleasure. It certainly reduced the stress level!”

“Just recently purchased breakdown cover from Start Rescue. There is lots of more companies offering cheaper prices but I’ve been using Start Rescue in the past, so without hesitation decided to purchase the cover again, based on my positive previous experience. Reliable company.”
