“9-17.30 Monday to Friday is a business model stuck in the 50's. This is when people are at work Ordering on the internet is no help as a couple of days after I thought I had bought a pair of trousers I was told that they were out of stock and the website had not been upgarded Robell is a great Dsnish company whose image is tarnished by Simply Robell”

“I have purched about 30 pairs of Robell Marie trousers all size 16 over the past few years. Full length and crops, some warm lined for winter and in many beautiful colours. They have always fitted me perfectly. However, I have just purchased Mari cropped black denim. I have only worn them once and sadly had to spend all the time hoisting them back up. The elastic on the waistline just wouldn't hold them in place. I could wish I had lost weight - but sadly no! All my other Marie trousers still stay in place perfectly. I still love Robell but will NOT be purchasing the denim again. A very expensive mistake.”

I am sorry you were disappointed your trousers did not arrive. We despatched them the day we received your order, unfortunately, Royal Mail let us down on this occasion although this is very rare. We chased up Royal Mail as they were tracked and they said to us they still thought they would arrive but we have to allow 8 days before we can say the parcel is lost. We would have been happy to send another pair to you but unfortunately, your size and style were out of stock. We refunded you as soon as the 8 days were over. The trousers were also sent to your holiday home so it was very difficult for you to confirm if the trousers had arrived, although we were tracking it every day for you. We always pride ourselves on good customer service.

“Having ordered two different pairs of Bella trousers in size 10, I am disappointed to find that the waist on one pair measures 76cm while the waist on the other pair measures 73cm. The fit of the larger waist pair is generally bigger throughout the leg too. This means I have to return the larger pair at my own cost, which puts me off ordering Robell trousers online in the future when the sizing is so unreliable.”

“I have been a Robell customer since I retired 8 years ago buying direct from Simply Robell and a local shop. I have been very pleased with all my past purchases and recommended Robell to friends who have purchased many pairs. I returned my recent purchase of Bella cord trousers as the quality was vastly different from the pairs I already have. The cord was very thin and the trousers looked as if they had iron marks on them. The cord was inconsistent. Very disappointing.”

“Really sorry to post a bad review. Firstly I bought Marie winter-weight and they shrank on the first time of washing - which was carefully done and according to instructions. Foolishly I decided to buy more this winter, Rose winter weight, and again they have shrunk on the first wash. The whole trouser is a size smaller and the elastic waistband has shrunk too. The black ones are worst, I had to cut the elastic to get them to fit at all and they are still uncomfortably tight. Navy ones slightly better but still too tight in the leg, the length and the waist.”

“Extremely disappointed. When washed for the first time, following the instructions, they have shrank. When contacting customer service to complain was told it was my fault. Very expensive, after one wash I am unable to wear these trousers. Very dissatisfied at response and after sales service.”

“After months of delay, SimplyRobell eventually sent trousers by UPS. However SimplyRobell made an error on shipment documents so I received an invoice from UPS for taxes in excess of the price of the trousers. UPS need corrected documents from SimplyRobell before they will correct the situation. SimplyRobell has not supplied them and is no longer responding to my emails or the request from UPS. Meanwhile I’m getting penalty notices from UPS. I will never buy from SimplyRobell again. Nice clothes but really bad customer service.”

“I ordered the same jeans in the same colour and it's like a different trouser. It's almost black not navy and the quality is extremely poor. I have several pairs of your Bella jeans so it's sad to see them changing”

“I live in mainland Europe and was so disappointed that I had to pay €39 on delivery for custom duties. This is not mentioned on your site so I thought you had a European branch to cater for non UK orders”

“Item ordered on 12 April and apparently dispatched on 13 April. Still haven't received it but I see you debited my credit card on 22 April. Have phoned twice but no one willing to help me until 21 working days have elapsed. I am very dissatisfied with the non-existent service so far and annoyed that I am being asked to review an item paid for but not yet received.”
