“Sonar work calibrates the speaker, which greatly improves my self-confidence in music production. I can listen to the correct sound without a good acoustic environment. However, my opinion is that the response to my after-sales questions is very slow, and it is difficult to answer my questions in a short time. At present, my questions have not been answered for more than a week. I hope it can improve the efficiency of customer service reply.”

“Impossible to live without once you started working with it. Especially in sub-optimal mix/tracking rooms. The workflow can be a bit tedious, but that has everything to do with the way it used in the DAW. Looking forward to the day when this is implemented directly in my speakers instead (as for the Adams for example).”

“This has been a difficult year with Sonarworks. Not their fault, really. Having been an early adopter of Mac's M1 chip, software running in emulation has not been smooth sailing. However, with OS13 Ventura, Rosetta has mostly disappeared from the scene and most software has become super-responsive. Wonderful. So much so, I'm upgrading Sonarworks Sound ID Reference to include the calibrated Microphone and then will be able to take full advantage of the software package.”

“during the trial period Sonarworks was really good about setting it up and keeping it running. They even extended the trial three times. Since I don't have good speakers and room treatment my headphones are all I have and now they were compensated for.”

“I got an extended trial because I wanted to test it on the M1. This was very useful and finally made me buy the EDU licence. The support was friendly and tried to help me with the "preset switch failed" errors. And they accepted my study certification very fast. Nice service.”

“The website isn't super intuitive and requires some careful consideration, especially since I don't visit often. I haven't really had to reach out to the support centre, but the purchase, activation & download process was mildly frustrating because of a little jumping around from page to page. Even this review page: I clicked on a link about reviewing SoundID, and the first thing that pops up is NOT SoundID. That's annoying. The product is great, though. Worth these little headaches.”

“Great product overall. It works well and is pretty easy to use. I'd recommend having an actual manual for both sound ID reference and its room profiling software. It's also a bit over priced.”

“When I was able to use SoundID I was satisfied with it. Great features, easy to use. The only Con was the price. Therefore I've used the trial instead of buying it. It was good till it lasted.”
