“I am extremely happy with Sonarworks and everything around the company itself. I checked different sources for reviews or opinions on the matter and Sonarworks kept popping up as the go-to. I checked the official website and everything was easy to find and I had no problem searching and finding the information I was looking for. I like the slick and clean website design, it looks amazing and super professional! Because I am not a professional I don't have too much cash I can spend on audio-related programs/devices. I found a discount code after some time and purchased the software from Sonarworks directly. In my opinion, the price is fair for the quality and feel/look you get compared to a lot of other companies. I am happy I chose Sonarworks because it works exactly how they described it before I purchased anything.”

“The calibration is really hard to get right. I used a mic stand and did 3 calibrations, all of which sound totally different. I chose the best sounding one but it seems less scientific and more guesswork than I thought.”

Hello, Thank you for the review! The calibration can differ between the measurements due to the fact that the microphone could have been positioned slightly higher or lower between the measurements. This can impact the result ever so slightly. Also, increasing or decreasing the input and output levels might also have an impact thus the output level should be set to a conversation level for the most accurate results. “I found the app and video directions for calibrating my monitor speakers incredibly efficient and practical however the firmware / updates needed to make my Mac OS compatible with certain bugs and issues was challenging and required a fair bit of navigating through the sonar works website before i could address these issues. I feel that could have been more easily addressed if that is generally the case. Since updating this however I have had no more issues and look forward to more positive experiences.”

“Used it to calibrate several headphones and my studio speakers. Finally found the way to have the most neutral monitor experiencing PLUS getting rid of some additional interferences my studio has. I can only recommend this great tool! The shipping for the microphone was super fast too!”
