“Sonarworks reference calibration software is a joy to use. Not only can I trust the calibration, but the various options available are amazing for dialling in a curve or previewing different profiles. The set up is pretty simple and it starts when I boot my computer, so I don't even have to think about it. Great job!”

“Unfortunately, I'm really disappointed with my upgrade to Sound ID. Even with the new upgrade that was supposed to fix certain issues, they still persist. This eats into my production time and costs me time away from the important things in life, and money as I should have moved on to other projects in my backlog.”

“At the start i had some troubles with the setup as there has been a problem on my pc setting it up, but with the insanly great support these troubles were quickly forgotten and solved. Now i can finally enjoy my setup as it was meant to sound in my room. An excellent tool for any studio!”

“I have been away from my studio for a while and it has been difficult to achieve a balanced mix in my headphones without having to monitor through my studio monitors. This almost completely supplements that issue. My last couple of mixes have been balance perfectly by using this VST at the end of my master chain. I wish I would have got this sooner.”

“Really fast service and my product got shipped almost right away. I ordered the SoundID reference for headphones and speakers with the measurement microphone and started setting it up as soon as I recieved it. Very easy setup and initial thoughts are that it is totally worth every penny! I don't think I've ever had a product that makes such a big difference to my home studio, without it being super expensive. I am finally able to trust my mixes!”

“Though It took me a while to save up to purchase this God sent product from sonaworks but I'm glad I did eventually cos this software is definately a game changer for me as an African bedroom producer/mix & mastering enginner based in the US. everything was smooth sailing from the purchase to the download to basement room calibration and my cheap headphones. thumbs up sonarworks. you rock!!!!!!!!”

“Systemwide calibration through standalone desktop soft is full of bugs. Despite years of complaining, some major problems - like SIDR not starting after computer power-saving mode and the inability to modify saved calibration targets - remain fully dealt with, and issues still persist. Offered workarounds would require in some instances, for example, user editing Windows registry files or allowing Sonarworks service to remote access user's computer via third-party software. In my opinion Sonarworks delegates problems to end-users which is plainly put rude, yet cost-effective for SW. When SoundID Reference works, it really does improve sound quality and seems to be very effective in managing sub-100Hz room modes. Sadly, other major shortcomings in the software drag the evaluation down.”

“Had my DT1990 Pro with balanced ear pads sent in for calibration. There was a significant difference in the custom calibration profile I was supplied compared with the average ones available in Sound ID. Highly recommend getting the custom calibration done. I like to use the custom calibration in conjunction with the ‘smiley face’ target curve and I add a couple extra db in the low end because I like the warmer sound for my electronic dance music. Sure I’m beefing up the lows which seems counterproductive, but I know the phones are flat as a pancake first , so I know where I am. Excellent customer service from Marco. Thankyou. Stu.”
