Sonarworks is obviously the industry leader in headphone & monitor frequency response correction. I read MANY positive online reviews and articles before deciding on there product. The company's website is also excellent, with many helpful articles and resources. Their demo and money-back guarantee policies are also extremely helpful and appreciated.

After initial problems caused by my lack of knowledge of the software's functionality, I have been very happy with the SoundID for headphones. The support is excellent. I wish there was good step-by-step instruction, which could be followed upon the installation.

I start using a trial period and from the beggining all was always clear and easy. The plug in is intuitive and all you need to start to use it is here : clear interface and graphs. I didn't use the Support Center but they send me regularly messages about the need of assistance.

The product is very good, but I feel it's a bit of a cop-out that the speaker presets costs extra...

I was trialling SoundID and keen to upgrade because of the new listening profiles feature, however I was encountering some errors. The support team patiently worked with me to resolve these and I eventually discovered that it was my own error; so they were especially patient to be going through fault logs etc!

Been using Sonoarworks for nearly 5 years now. I've recently upgraded from reference 4 to sound ID with ease. The only thing I find annoying when going through the preset sources then going back to the custom profile is that the headroom volume will need adjusting back up ... it would be nice if you could have a set headroom volume or wet/dry for each preset setting For example. Custom profile 50/50 NS10 profile 100wet And for the headroom to go back to the original level when moving back and forth

I came across Sonarworks while looking for a studio emulator to mix with headphones. All was easy, from creating an account to download the product

My overall experience is good but there are a few things I would try to make my shopping easier: I writed more in my individual headphones calibration experience review As an owner of Sound ID Reference.. it would be nice if the software would save presets for both plugin and standalone, sometimes my soundcard (Audient iD14mII) fails to play sound when I go from sleep mode on my windows because Sonarworks is blocking (have to quit the app) also waiting when the standalone version will have dark mode enabled Support is nice and tries to be responsive but I think they have too many requests when they reply after few days :) I think all the info should be provided on the shopping page not somewhere in FAQ (related to my individual calibration shopping experience) good luck Sonarworks!

SoundID made me really trust my headphones. They improved the frequency response tremendously. Because of that you have to „learn“ your headphones again, but it was worth it! Using it everyday! PS Sometimes weird audio blips appear, quick restart and everything works fine again.

Good product. About the sound correction, no problem. It's improving my room's sound quality. But, since I got it I have had problems between sonarwork and my audio interface. Seems like a buffer or sample rate conflict. Maybe there is something to improve here. I'm still using it !

The whole experience has been very intuitive and easy to set up from purchasing the product to calibrating my speakers, and it really helped! My mixes translate better. Only complaint I have is that I had no idea I would only get one activation license for the education edition until I went to check out, and no option to buy just one more license at a reasonable price (not like buying the whole product again)

Buying the product on the page was easy enough. Everything went smooth. There are minor issues the new software has that can still be improved. For example my right speaker is 0.3db louder and I can't figure out why (in reality they have the same volume). I also feel that Reference adds a lot of volume. I would wish it would retain the in/out volume at the same level, especially in the daw where gain staging is crucial.

Very noticeable improvement in my room response. Effectively smoothed out peaks and nulls, and I appreciate the flexibility to customize and band limit the correction to your own taste. This allowed me to tune the room without losing the useful speaker voicing I’m used to on my Amphions. I also use the headphone version with Beyerdynamic DT880s, and that combination is the only time I’ve been able confidently do true headphone mixing. Really excellent stuff. I deduct one star, because I have some trouble with the system-wide version of SoundID not playing audio smoothly. Lots of crackles and dropouts, no matter how many different ways I adjust audio settings and latency between my interface, windows 11, etc. I really like having a consistent room sound both within my DAW and outside of it, so this is more than just a minor annoyance to have to live with.

Shopping was simple and fast. Products work amazing no complaints. Only thing I found a little bothersome is the way of updating the program.

Everything works. Would be nice if the "plugin is not disabled during export" warning supported ableton live too. Also the the headphones review articles seem to be helping a lot in getting people's attention in your product, maybe keep doing that
