I purchase windows 10 pro 5 days ago and still not installed I have tried the links sent to me downloaded windows 64bit and always get ISO file I really need a phone number so I can speak to someone and let them take me through it. I have been told windows 10 will not install over xp is this correct

Hi Barbara, Instructions were sent, recommending that you use the MS tool to download and burn media if you're not an advanced user. If you're downloading an ISO file, then you've skipped this step. We're available via online chat or emails, Mon-Fri 9am-6pm. Softwaregeeks

Hi Keith, Windows 10 would not "lock up" a computer. This would be a user error which can be resolved. Windows 10 is a product from Microsoft. Regardless of if you purchase from ourselves or Microsoft, you download from the same place. You've only purchased a license key from ourselves which itself is completely valid. I reloaded my laptop with a clean Windows 7 pro operating system after 'wiping' my harddrive. After a long time I, on request entered the Code. A message came back immediatly 'Invalid code' . Having paid for it on a site recommended by a friend I am not at all happy.

Hi Maurice, You purchased 2 x Win 7 Pro licenses and both are completely valid. We can send you the output from Microsoft if required. I have spent many hours trying to up date to W10 to no avail. Even some of the fixes you recommended have a download time of up to 12 hours. To preserve my sanity I have decided to write off the cost and abandon the whole process. I gave a rating of one star as you did not give an option for a nil rating

The links to download the software didn't work and neither did the key code given. Total waste of money!!!!!!

The purchase ended up a complete waste of money, because I never managed to install the software - despite investing a large amount of time and effort, with increasing levels of frustration. Nothing happened, despite multiple attempts, when attempting to re-boot the WinXP PC with the WIN 7 DVD.

You sold me a URL for £21 I could Have looked the URL myself. You sell a URL claiming to be the OS then giving people a dummy licence asking to pay for Licence ????

Hi Juma, The dummy key you're referring to is to upgrade from Win 10 Home to Pro. You would have also received a unique key in a seperate email to activate Windows 10 Pro. The instructions to upgrade from W10 home to Pro failed and I researched upgrading I found a way to use my Wing licence. I asked for a refund which was refused with the company quoting an out of date consumer rights policy. after challenging Software geeks they stopped replying. I would be reluctant to use them in the future.

Couldn't install software on my Mac. Got sent a link without UN-realistic instructions to follow. A very hard process to follow you would need to be an IT professional to follow these instructions. There not clear ether. Wouldn't refund my money. Eventually had to download Windows from Parellel the official way, should have done this in the first place. Please be very wary when purchasing from these people guys.

Hi Jamie, You would simply create a new virtual machine within Parallels and point to the downloaded ISO file to install. If you would have popped onto the online chat we could have guided you through this. There is nothing wrong with the product itself and many people install via Bootcamp/Parallels without issue. Customer Service is non existent. Don't buy software unless you're a Geek because the people offering chat support are not helping instead they just post generic responses and then it's dead silent. No satisfied but at lease the keys I bought work!

My purchase required some technical expertise. Installing Windows 7 from online link. I was told off by chat line operator who said the chat had been 2 hours. It hadn't. I'd gone out shopping for a new USB stick in that time. (I didn't realise the first one wasn't clean). I don't think it much to support the person who's installing even if they have to leave the installation to do other things and come back later. So I think I needed more support than was offered. I still haven't been able to do the install. It didn't work for me. It says to contact them but I've no access to a phone at the moment. And the telling off has put me off contacting them again.
