“The installation process was without problems and the key worked fine. However it would be useful if you could indicate clearly to customers that the key cannot be transferred to another computer. It is tied to the first computer that Windows 7 is installed on.”

“Ordered a download, had a couple of questions but their 'chat now' didn't work. A bit disappointing. I found the website a bit aukward to navigate also. The download worked fine though so worked out ok in the end.”

“The software is exactly what we wanted. However, when burned to disc to provide a back-up, it wouldn't load - in fact it froze the whole computer, including the clock.”

“The purchase process was easy and a query I had was answered very quickly (though I did not fully understand the answer). The version of Windows 10 that I selected (an iso file) took more than two hours to download - I am not sure to what extent (if any) Software Geeks was responsible for that. The actual installation of Windows 10 proceeded without any problems though again it was a slow and tedious task even though it required minimal input from me. Overall, I am a happy customer and would certainly be content to use this supplier again.”

“Worked really well, though instructions could be better. Here's what I did for Windows 10 on a new build PC: > Download ISO from the supplied link in the Software Geeks email > Convert ISO to bootable USB using Rufus (https://rufus.akeo.ie) > Boot up OC from USB > Remember to run Microsoft Update (https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/help/12387/windows-10-update-history) to upgrade to the latest version from the version 1024 installed Worked well for me”

“I have made 2 purchases so far, that is 3 packages each of Windows 7 and MS Office Professional 2010. I have installed these so far on one old laptop to try them out and the install has been without difficulty and performance as expected. The web based purchasing system is easy to use and results in a very fast delivery of the products which are competitively priced. The only reason I have not awarded a five is that I am a little old fashioned and would like the option of having the software on a disk as I am then always certain of being able to reinstall if I encounter a problem in the future.”

“I have recently purchased two copies of Microsoft Office 2013 using a discount. The order process was easy and when I spoke to a software geeks colleague on "chat" they were helpful. However, installation was not so straightforward. The download file includes an "office" folder, an run file and a setup file. What I didn't know until after I spoke with "chat" was you need to go into the "office" folder to select your version of office to install (either 32-bit or 64-bit). Don't use the other setup file. In addition, the software is downloaded to a "virtual" DVD drive, not your downloads folder. Software geeks just need to make this clear in the instructions and all would have been fine. Once I had sorted all of that out, installation went smoothly and all is now fine.”
