“This is my 2nd Snakehive case. My first one, S10 case, held up so beautifully, I had to become a return customer. The leather hides or blends dirt marks and stains to make the cover more interesting and vintage looking. I would recommend this product because it exceeded my expectations.”

“Fits the phone perfectly and interior finish is great. However the external finish is suede like and so shows every mark and blemish so it constantly needs to be cleaned. It always looks dirty. Would much prefer an external finish like the inside surface.”

Hi Michael, Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback following your purchase with us, and I'm sorry to hear that you are not happy with the finish of your case! Our Vintage Leather Wallet cases are made from a soft Nubuck leather, which can be similar to suede at first, and especially when new they will naturally show marks which will add to the character. Primarily, nubuck is thicker than suede, so far more durable. To the touch, suede feels more velvety and nubuck tends to feel a little more like leather. Nubuck also tends to be less porous, which you won’t see at first sight, but you’ll appreciate, as it’s easier to maintain. Over time and with regular use, the top layer of leather will begin to wear down and the case will develop a rich & smooth patina finish. Wear on each of our cases will vary depending on its use, which will add to the unique character of your case. To clean your case we recommend that you carefully wipe the cover with a nubuck or similar soft cloth using a circular motion. Brush with a nubuck brush to remove dirt and dust. Spray a cloth with a nubuck cleaner, from leather retailers or online, and work well into the leather but do not over saturate the material. Allow to dry thoroughly and then use brush to restore the nap to its original condition. I hope this helps however please do contact us with any further enquiries 😊. “Have had snakehive leather cases for my last three iPhones. Top quality - looks great and protects phone well too - you need to allow the case a few weeks to ‘soften up’ as feels quite rigid at first but then feels wonderful and perfect in every way”

“Beautiful cover. Really good quality. I bought a '2nd' cover at a reduced price and I'm so glad I did. There is a tiny tiny mark on it which is barely noticeable and at least it didn't go to landfill. Definitely recommend.”
