“Horrible experience, over 3 weeks waiting on delivery of phone , with varying emails , stating , we hope to have your item delivered to you ,this week , end of week , next week and so on
Asked for a cancellation, no response, money taken , again asked why , to be told this would be refunded, low and behold , phone arrives , despite acknowledgment of cancellation.. Would avoid Smartcellular at all costs”

I give no stars, this company does not care about their customers. In fact the customer service they pride themselves on is non existent.
They either ignore me or lie to me.
I imagine the majority of positive reviews are fake. I’m sure there are many more like me that have been robbed by this company.”

I would say it’s a scam - price given and phone (stupidly) sent in by me. Tracked and it’s been delivered but heard nothing from them. No response to email, phone put down on me.
Checked online account and price quoted there is nearly £200 less than offered but still can’t do anything as no contact.

“Spent extra to get two handsets delivered first thing Friday 3rd Jan, didn’t receive an offer until late on Tuesday 7th, and despite accepting immediately, and being told that I will be paid same day as the handsets were tested, I’m still waiting to be paid at Wednesday 8th at 6pm.

“Bought 2 devices from this company in 'excellent' condition November 2024. One device arrived about a week later with deep scratches on the screen that you could fit your fingernail in, no sign of the other device!
Attempted contact on 6 separate occasions on live chat and email, only to be told 'We'll escalate' or 'it will be with you by the end of this week at the latest' (end of November).
As of Jan 7th 2025, still no 2nd device and after eventually getting through to the rude customer service on the phone, apparently we should be getting a refund for this device (we will see!)
We have no explanation as to why we've not received the device, but my best guess is that they are selling devices they do not have in stock and are hoping you will just wait until they have stock.”
“Took 12 days to deliver my sons 16th birthday gift, offered a free pair of earpods which have also never come, don't answer emails and lie on their chats. It's a shame as the mobile is good and he's happy with it but I'd never buy again from you or tell anyone else to either.”
“Terrible service and communication can’t contact via phone. I write this whilst awaiting the return of my Apple IPad.
I was quoted approximately £115 plus 15% extra bonus. Eventually once they had received it contacted me offered £22 then an extra £3. £25 in total for a mint condition IPad which they stated had scratches on it not at all. As I was feeling generous with the quote provided I sent the IPad inside a good quality protective coat. I asked if they could send that back with the IPad as it would protect the iPad. No I can’t their terms. It will be interesting to see what condition my IPad comes back in. I had the foresight to take good quality pictures prior to posting. Update to follow !”
“A terrible company. Firstly the phone came later than stated then they sent the wrong colour. Have tried to get this rectified but they do not respond to phone calls (goes straight to voicemail) and just send a standard message - leaving an upset child waiting for her Christmas present. Disgraceful customer service.”
“Absolutely awful customer service! The phone did not arrive for 3 weeks. I chased after 2 and was told there was a delay and they would do what they could but it still took another 8 days. Then when it finally arrived it did not come with the advertised free USB and Sim pin or the original apple cable that I paid extra for. Apparently they do not have to send the USB or pin as they are free and subject to availability (they have not been available for a month), they told me trading standard are aware and as its free its fine. When you call it just rings out continually, took me about 10-15 attempts both times to get through. Emails are not responded to. And when I finally spoke to the girl today she was very unhelpful and suggested I return my phone (when all I want is the charger that I paid for). In order to ensure my review is balanced what I will say is that the phone was in great/perfect condition.”

Took money, sent phone out nearly 3 weeks later that was wrong model. Tried telling me it was correct model then back pedalled and said I could have the money difference back and keep phone. Finally accepted phone back to now ignore all emails, won't answer the phone and I am the cost of the phone down and nothing to show for it.”
“I ordered my daughters phone on the 25th of November next day delivery and didn't get the phone until the 18th of December 10 days after her birthday she was extremely upset and the customer did not work, emails where unanswered, eventually I got another number and spoke to a very nice girl (frankie) who told me the phone was coming the following week it took 2 more weeks to arrive”
“Order was only delivered on the 12th working day after order date, and only dispatched on the same day as the order was cancelled, meaning it had to be returned at my on cost before a refund was eventually received”
