I cannot comment on the products as they have not been delivered (for a second time). So my comment has to relate to Morrelli Group since they have contracted to APC the delivery of their goods. APC attempted delivery to the wrong address on 8th June. Slims were very prompt in contacting APC on my behalf. There was system glitch which entered the wrong address. Today APC have attempted delivery again to the wrong address. The reason stated by APC "the driver didn't look at the corrected delivery address". I feel sure that if the products ever arrive they will be to Slims' high standard. However they need to have strong words with APC who are letting them down.

I have not yet tested the products but I’m sure they will do what they should (poor boys black hole and black wax paste). I was a somewhat disappointed when I opened the fair size box that was delivered to me, I was fooled by the size thinking that I was getting at least 1, maybe even two cloths/applicator. No, just the products, not even a sticker. I know this may seem petty but it’s the little things that go a long way!

The product I bought is brilliant, works a treat. But I paid for next day delivery and this is what happened, supposed to be delivered between 12.25 and 13.25 but was attempted at 11.30 so no one in, I contacted "slims detailing" and they said they would contact the couriers and redilever to my place of work. I received a message from the couriers saying they will redeliver on Monday, (it is now friday and it was promised for Thursday) anyway i had to travel approximately 30 miles all in and collect it myself. Apparently the young lady at "slims" didn't pass the messages on to the couriers on the same day (emails to prove). Hence the mess. So would have been 5 stars.

Hi Stephen, Thanks for your review. Sorry on this occasion you could only rate us 2*. We've spoken to our couriers and they supplied us with information that your delivery slot was 10.15-12.15. Also we did try and update the address information with the courier, unfortunately on this occasion the error come down to a miscommunication so apologise from us and the courier. Hopefully you can see from our 5* reviews that this type of let down in service is rare, so I hope you choose give Slim's another chance in the future when you need to top up your detailing supplies. The quality of the products and customer service from Slims Detailing has been very good. Fast turnaround and exactly as expected. The courier service used however has left little to be desired. Although initially they tried to deliver on time, they offered no option of tracking and communication to for the customer. This resulted in a non-delivery and a note through the door, where I would have been happy to append a tracking tool to acknowledge a leave location to avoid or propose leaving with a neighbour. From the note, I then proceeded to use their website to confirm I would pickup from their depot (big inconvenience and negates the purpose of delivery...) as the offered dates for re-delivery would have been into next week and too late for my needs and also derived he same problem as I couldn’t be at ho e in working hours. Having, made the journey near the end of the working day to the deport, I arrived to find that they had ignored their own system and put the package back into a van during the day to deliver (obviously without success as I was at work). When I asked for support and suggestions on what could be done the only response I had was to wai for the delivery driver to return or book an appointment the following week (as they wouldn’t deliver at weekends, both unacceptable, however I needed the products so wanted and hour and half for the van to return upsetting my evenings plans. Their customer service and communication was extremely poor and lack of ownership and accountability of 5e issue to resolve non-existent. I would thoroughly recommend that Slims Detailing consider using alternative courier services where better flexibility and customer principles are a driver for their business as I would hate for their poor performance to have a lasting impression on your business. My rating reflects the overall performance, however with a quality courier this would have easily been a good or very good rating. Regards Joe

I ordered a collection of products as a birthday present for next day delivery by courier. I received no dispatch notifications or notifications that any products were unavailable or out of stock. I did not receive the complete delivery of my order until 5 days later, too late for the birthday it was intended.

My product arrived next day as promised, which is great, it was well packaged. The reason I think it's poor, is because I ordered my product on the first day of a promotion offer, but when my product arrived, the promotion offer didn't arrive with it. I contacted Slim's only to be told that they had run out! I think this is poor to offer a promotion and then not be able to honour it, especially as I placed my order on the first day of the promotion. Either they didn't have enough products or it was a marketing ploy to get you to shop with them. I will be much more wise about them in the future.

Having written to Slim's to advise on the issues I was having with APC OVERNIGHT's inadequate communication channels, 36 hours later, having not heard back from Slims, I nevertheless received an email asking for a review. So here goes: fingers crossed that my parcel actually arrives on its second attempt tomorrow, but using APC ON is not going to win you customers, and may in fact lose them. I already won't be ordering again.

Please STOP using the company APC OVERNIGHT as they can never deliver my parcels. As the delivery driver cant ring a door bell. I have to always pick my parcels up from liverpool. If you continue to us them I will take my business elsewhere. I will not pick up my parcel again. Since u have changed to this company from Parcel Force this will effect how people view your company. As your company uses inadequate companies to deliver your customers goods.

Haven’t answered my e mail regarding a purchase which was not worth the asking price. It appeared to be a book that advertised product rather than give useful information on techniques.

I love Slim’s, however on this occasion the delivery did not arrive when I wanted I placed a delivery with Ultimate Finish and Slim’s at the same time last Thursday and paid for next day delivery UF confirmed next day, Via DPD I got an email from Slim’s saying product would be Monday, I rang up and explained I placed the order and was told the delivery had already gone Delivery eventually arrived today by DPD So on this occasion Ultimate Finish certainly gave the best service As I was waiting on the wheel armour for a customers R8 hence why I paid for next day

I ordered this 19/8/2018 i paid £4.15 for next working day delivery which i then got a e-mail on 20/8/2018 confirming it would be delivered 21/8/2018 between 6.00am and 10.00pm.I waited in all day on 21/8/2018 it never arrived,it came the next day 22/8/2018 it had been repackaged by DPD.

Ordering from Slim’s was a nightmare, the website in my opinion needs an overhaul I thought it was awkward to use, the check out was poor and did not receive a confirmation of my order. I did not know if I had actually ordered my products! Tried to contact Slims using the contact form but no reply. Delivery was first class, they used DPD and that was 10/10👍 I’ve emailed since and contacted James who has been more than helpful although not been offered any future discount!

First of all I don’t want to totally put people off this site. There are plenty of very positive reviews from satisfied customers and I believe that they’re genuine. What went wrong for me was during the ordering. While I was making the order the system constantly asked me to sign in with my account ID. When I made an account I received no notification. When I tried to sign in, the system reported that my account wasn’t valid. I tried with three e-mail accounts. As I was buying a present for my father’s 70th birthday, I contacted him and apologized for the fact I’d not got him anything and that I’d sort it out once he’d returned from holiday. On his return he thanked me for his gift! It was delivered! I hadn’t received any confirmation e-mail. I’m very glad it was delivered, and perhaps I could have checked my mail’s spam folder, but after all those retry messages I thought there was something serously wrong with the site. All’s well that ends well, but could have done without the agro. I hope that helps someone out.

Products were fine. Spent 10 mins in a queue at an unmarked sales counter, then told to go to another. This was manned by 2 people. The first serving the customer in front of me. After another 5 min wait I was asked "are u not together?" When I said no, I was then served and given my prepaid order no problem. Better signage and more attentive staff would be welcome

Ordered from Denmark on 29/12. On 5/1 I called and spoke to Slims Detailing because I was unable to follow tracking in My Account on their website. After providing me with shipping code and courier details the package was in Holland! The guy I spoke to promised to call the courier and call me straight back. That did not happen. 30 minutes after speaking to Slims Detailing 1 of 2 packages arrived with a courier. I am still missing the other but according to tracking (still unavailable through the online Slims account) I can see that it is now in Denmark. So, all will probably be good . But two things are not to my satisfaction: 1) Don’t say you will follow up and call back and not do it! 2) Tracking online does not seem to work. Regards, Christina

Thanks for your message. We have spoken to the couriers and your parcel was delayed getting to the your central hub because of the recent snow. It was out for delivery again yesterday. Make sure you pop your mobile phone number in when ordering and you'll receive all your delivery info straight to your mobile from DPD. Many Thanks Slim's.
