I'm really sorry guys but you let me down bad this time. I've ordered a number of times and never had an issue but I ordered some ceramic coating specifically for this weekend so I could coat the car over the 4 day weekend when I could leave it in the garage. I ordered on Wednesday morning but it hasn't arrived in time. I ordered some stuff from another detailing company on the same day which arrived next day and I actually ordered some stuff from a 3rd company on Thursday which arrived next day. Really disappointed as I've now got the car all polished and prepped ready for coating but no coating to put on it, I was hoping it would show up yesterday as it wasn't a bank holiday but it didn't. I presume it'll be here on Tuesday but thats really no good to me.

Probably won’t use again they use apc for delivery which mean you have to drive to get you package waste of time really

Very unfortunate to have had missing and incorrect items on almost every order. Never receiving my welcome pack that I was promised many times and most questions asked in emails were ignored when replied. Replies take way too long and knowone answers the phone. Shame.

no instructions with item to enable to put together, and issue with that was there was a nut missing. Also the seat and tray were very badly scratched looking like it was either second hand, or had been packed badly and thrown around in transit.

Ordered a bucket seat cushion and disposable floor mats and car seat covers. Service was prompt and delivery was quick. Left disappointed that the disposable floor covers were not as advertised. Says they come in an easy cardboard dispenser however I received what can only be described as a pack of a3 paper with sheets of paper not worthy of treading on especially if slightly damp. This let down the experience and sadly wouldn’t use as feel like I’ve been given something I could have picked up from staples!? Other products were satisfactory.

I have found the new website extremely frustrating where as the old version much easier to negotiate. Definitely not a step forward. Rob Ayles.

I ordered my husband a detailing stool as a Christmas present. When it was delivered the box was dirty, and ripped. The stool had chips, scuffs, scratches and paint missing. The matter was resolved however I paid to have it delivered and expected the packaging and item to be in perfect condition. I would have liked a token as a good will gesture but had nothing apart from a replacement

Items arrived, but one was missing a spray head, phoned up for one to be sent out but when that arrived it was the wrong size and didn’t fit the bottle. Sent a message but no reply so still unable to use the product.

The item was not as expected. The car seat covers did fit the seat. I was expecting them to be 'fitted' but they're just a square piece of polythene. Also arrived a day late

Love the Slim's products, but because I live in North Scotland, I wont be buying any more, last order was for £160, but no free delivery, had to pay £7.50. Then went to buy 1 roll of masking tape...still £7.50 delivery. Come on guys, we have roads up here, electricity and inside loo's. I can post to you with no excess delivery charges ?. If you blame your couriers, then your using the wrong couriers.

I had two £50 vouchers. On trying to use the first one it said I had to pay for delivery despite the website stating orders over £50 pound were free delivery. After an e-mail it was sorted. A pain. When I tried to use the second, I had no end of problems logging on. E-mail used and finally sorted. Again though I found there was a delivery charge. E-mailed again but no reply, gave up and paid for delivery. To much hassle and will not use Slim`s again.

All the items were sent quickly but one item, a blue foam polishing pad was sent as a screw in (M16 so needs an adptor) rather than hook and loop as ordered. Emailed Slims to highlight the error. They emailed back the following day and asked for photo of wrong item, which I did by return…never heard back from them!

Order stuck in processing for 2 days. Looks like things are very slow at slims due cv-19. If you are in a rush suggest using another supplier.

Can't register on the site. I've added my detail, checked my email address and waiting for a confirmation email to activate. Not in my spam or junk folders. Tried calling to get it resolved but got an EE answer machine. now been trying for two days to get logged in. I'm really not sure whats going wrong in the process and questioned whether they were still trading but looking at the reviews it looks like they are so who knows. They've come highly recommended to me so its a shame i can't create an account

Packaging was badly done. Bucket Starter Kit I bought items were not good quality very flimsy ie bucket, brush for wheels, wash Mitt, and grit guard was not durable and spray bottle also.... haven’t used microfibre clothes but overall very disappointed with purchase and quality of it. Would not recommend to anyone.

While the delivery of the products and the products themselves were fantastic. I’m afraid to say the customer service after has left little to be desired. I have emailed, and sent a message on twitter and Instagram, and not heard anything back in over a week now over a missing trigger for a spray bottle. Yes, I could just go and buy one elsewhere or use something else, but when the invoice states it comes with my order and it wasn’t in the parcel, anyone would question it. I did exactly that, and to this point Slim’s have not got back to me. Unfortunate, but I won’t be using this company again.

Product was fine and delivered accordingly,however no customers service provided when contacting for a price match numerous times and because of the continuous non reply decided to purchase from another site.

Sent me 1 order with an item missing, though refunded it when I complained. 2nd order they sent me an item that was 2 years old and 2 months to expiry. Slow to dispatch and several days to arrive by APC “overnight”. Won’t be using them again unless absolutely necessary. Worrying that these are the new CarPro distributors and seem to be effecting availability of these products to other suppliers.

Thank you for your review. Hopefully the below will address some of your concerns. Like many online shops we have been overwhelmed with orders since lockdown began and we've had to balance this between changing processes to keep our staff safe. We have publicised the delays both us and our couriers are currently facing both on the website and our social channels to manage our customers expectations. Discussions to take over distribution with the outgoing CarPro UK stockist began just before lockdown, at that point we had good stocks of the range and were in a good position to take over their stocks and any increased sales. Lockdown happened and the UK demand for car cleaning products trebled on our website overnight, CarPro UK also experienced an increase in sales at this point draining the stocks they had to transfer to us as well. We have now received their stocks and have increased our CarPro sales lines to over 220 lines on our website adding over 30 products since the transfer of business. We have an order on the water over 7 weeks now since South Korea reopened for business, it takes 10 weeks to get here from South Korea and we have airfreighted stock to help keep up with demand during this period as well. This does negate any profit in the range for us but we will continue to do this to make sure we keep up with current high demand. I hope this response shows you how serious we are about our position as CarPro UK stockists and that you continue to purchase their excellent products from us. All the best, Slims Customer Service

As the new distributor for CarPro you really need to have better supply in stock and the full range of products or you are letting the entire country down as to ease of access of these phenomenally excellent products. I've very disappointed to see products missing from your website, and low or no stock for many weeks. Despite the current crisis there is no issue to receiving items form overseas, so it shouldn't be used as an excuse if you are going to be the only CarPro distributor and uphold this brand place and reputation in the UK. 3 working days to ship when everyone else is still able to do at least 48 hours is also disappointing. Frankly you shouldn't be the CarPro reps if you cannot provide the service, so I really hope these are just growing pains, and that you work out the bugs.

I will respond to all your points as follows. As I check stocks today we are out of 9 products on the website so about 4% of lines are unavailable, we would like this to be 0% but continue to experience high demand. As to your point about 3 working days to ship you have read our message on the website wrongly, we ask for people to allow 3 days to chase a shipment as couriers have been experiencing high workloads and we cannot guarantee next day delivery at the moment we are currently packing all orders for next day delivery and most customers are receiving their order next working day or at worst within 48 hours. I hope this response shows you how serious we are about our position as CarPro UK stockists and that you continue to purchase their phenomenally excellent products from us.
