“Bought two solar electric blackout blinds from Skylight Blinds-direct for velux windows. Found them easy to install only four screws. They fitted perfectly, make sure to select the correct velux reference number when ordering, can be found on a sticker when opened. Very pleased with the result, they operate smoothly with the remote control with complete flexibility as to how much they are open or closed. A small issue with the package contents was resolved quickly, customer service was excellent”

“I recently ordered a large honeycomb electric motor lantern blind from Skylight Blinds Direct, measuring approximately 6.5 feet wide by 14 feet long, installed in a lantern roof about 10 feet high. The blind integrates seamlessly with Alexa via a Tuya Zigbee bridge, and I’m absolutely delighted with the end result. From the outset, their communication was excellent. The team provided helpful guides and videos that made the process much smoother. In particular I'd like to say thank you to Naomi. The blind itself is of superb quality and functions exactly as expected. One suggestion I’d offer is that once an order is confirmed, it would be incredibly helpful to receive direct links to the relevant guides, instructions, and assembly videos. This would have saved me from needing to reach out for support during installation. That said, the support I did receive was prompt and informative. Installation was challenging due to the size and height of the lantern, but the final outcome was well worth the effort. Highly recommended for anyone looking for smart, high-quality skylight blinds.”

“Undecided wether we needed a blind for our 3x2 meter lantern, but having spoken to the helpful team at skylight, decided that it would help keeping the room warmer in winter. Ordered and assembled ( a little tricky as the online instruction didn't appertain to my particular blind), but with a little help it was installed. I didn't realise how much I needed it! Throughout the extremely hot weather it was invaluable at keeping a south facing room cool and was easy and quick to open/ close. I'm sure it will be just as useful in winter at keeping the room warm. A good investment from a helpful company.”

“Easy service to use to order the blind, which came pretty promptly, well packed. The video instructions were ok, but could be more detailed. I managed to mount the blind upside down because my attention was not drawn to the fact that there's a right and a wrong way to mount the blind. Unfortunately I was unable to use the screws supplied as the plasterboard is hollow behind, but the mounting still worked well. It's definitely a two person job when the blind is 2.8 metres long! We discovered that one of the guide strings was damaged, and Naomi promptly sent a replacement. Really good customer service. Prompt, polite very eager to help. Thanks for a very good experience.”
