“Blinds, when closed, leave a gap that lets light seep through. Temporary workaround was adding tape across the bottom (next to the handle where light seeps through), however over time the tape wears out so falls off and light seeps through again. I brought 2 different size blinds for the balio windows, both have the same issue.”

Hi Mahin, sorry to hear this (if you would have contacted customer services we would have told you the trouble shooting for this problem. Please see below and I have also sent you some documents and videos to help with this). It looks like the handle has not been pulled down enough. Can you untighten the side rails by 1 turn? If the side rails are over tightened, the teeth on the brakes and the teeth on the back of the foot won't lock into each other and so the blind won't close. Check to see if the cassette is fitted correctly and loosen the screws on the feet by a turn to see if this allows the teeth inter-lock with each other. If there is a gap at the bottom, if they place a finger at the end of each handle and push down and listen for a click this is the brake interlocking with the foot. thanks Naomi

“Excellent service from start to finish, Steve secured the deal on 2 honeycomb fully opening motorised blinds by beating a price I’d already optioned elsewhere and even threw in an extra for free, from ordering I had the blinds delivered within 3 weeks the two blinds took me around 2 hours to install following the installation video. I thought I had an issue with one blind a day later as it stopped working I called out of hours and left my details and within 30 mins I had a call from Naomi who ran through the troubleshooting process to which I’d found I hadn’t connected the battery wire fully so I can say with confidence from sales to after care the service was excellent and the blinds are top quality. Would happily recommend skylight blinds direct to anyone.”

“Arrived earlier than expected, easier to assemble than expected, just click the four corners together and secure the locking screw, pressed the remote and carried out a trial test. Perfect. It’s a two person job to install it into the recces. Second person required for five minutes if that. Looks nice and works well.”

“Absolutely DISGUSTING behaviour from Naomi in customer service. I needed new batteries for the remote for the electric blinds and now she is holding them hostage unless I amend my review and LIE stating that the blinds work perfectly. In the 2 months we have had them the blinds have broken 3 times - we bought a new blind and cannot even install it because their installation guides look like a toddler drew them up in school. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!!”

Hi Mia I am so sorry that you feel this way. The blinds that you are refering to are over 4 years old and bought by the previous owner of your house. We have tried to help you even though the blinds are out of warranty and not bought by you (our warranties are not transferrable). We offered to send you out 2 x batteries free of charge at our expense to Sweden and asked you to revise your review kindly as you are the first person who has said that "our instructions look like they have been written by a toddler". We feel we have been very helpful and polite and we have gone above and beyond and it has not been recipricated.
