A great product and we love it. On the assembly, we ordered a 4.5m x 1.3m roof lantern blind which must be built on the floor so a flat open space is required. It then needed 3 people to lift it into position but all this effort was worth it for a perfectly working blind. Some reasonable DIY skills are required.

We purchased a manual honeycomb openview blind for our roof lantern. Ordering was simple, with good communication. The blind was easy to assemble, install and looks great. The only thing I'm not so keen on is the pole, although functional, it's not particularly modern. Would definitely use Skylight Blinds again. Thank you!

We're delighted with the replacement blinds from Skylight for our Velux windows. Ordering was easy to navigate, using the code on our Velux windows, to be sure they'd fit. Very pleased with the delivery and my 22 year old son was able to do the fitting with the help of the video link on the website. Best of all, they look great too.

Having never put in skylight blinds I wasn’t sure what to expect but it is SOOO easy. 4 screws and you’re done. Just check the code on your skylight windows, find the match on the website and order. It’s very easy and I love my blinds.

Delivery - great, arranged a day I knew I could receive it. Price - OK, took advantage of small discount. Other companies charge a lot more for measuring and fitting, but here's the rub: Customer service closed over Christmas period (fine) but then not open until 12th January. Every time I spoke to the phone 'bot' I got an email back asking for more information, very frustrating when I just needed to speak to a real person. For a big 4m x 2m blind the fitting instruction video was not adequate. Nothing comes with paper instructions for a) fitting and installing the blind b) setting the remote. Issues: * easy to contact and speak to someone to buy the blind, no verbal contact since * for a big blind: inadequate fitting and NO installation instructions * no mention of how many people needed to fit such a big blind (as it needs to be fitted as one unit, and is heavy) * I was told that someone with average DIY would be fine with fitting and installing this, when in fact AI said there are clearly things that Joe Average would not be aware of, and is often best fitted by professional installers. The video on the webpage showing a small blind being connected (not installed) - even that doesn't show the two white side blocks being connected - needed to function the blind. Would definitely recommend watching the troubleshooting videos before attempting to install. Oh - and for a split piece side-rail - expect it to be pre-programmed to only go half way! Obviously!

Great service right from my initial contact. I needed advice on the best blind for my situation and Steve answered all my queries quickly and was really friendly. I don't need to prevent heat coming in during the summer, I want to prevent heat rising into my rooflights in the winter. I'm delighted with the look and performance of the blinds: they've made a huge difference but allow light to filter through during the day

Love!! Our orangery was freezing 6 months of the year, but after fitting the lantern blind it finally keeps the heat in!! Only downside was the lack of instructions, there were a few videos on their website but it took some trial and error.

Our kitchen has two large roof lights (2.8 x 1.5m), great in daylight but a large black space at night. We found the Skylight blinds simple to assemble and with the help of two friends and a bit of preparation easy to install. Very pleased with the appearance and performance and although the roof lights are triple glazed there is a noticeable difference with the insulation they provide.

The blinds arrived earlier than expected, unfortunately without the screws or remote control. Then closed for 2 weeks for Christmas so a little frustrating

Manual pole is universal and not custom meaning no positive connection with the blind, risk of the pole slipping and damaging the fabric.

To be honest I'm not a big fan of automated phone call service however with that put on a back burner for a minute, I did get to talk one to one with Steve a long standing member of the team. He understood the project I was working on and eventually when the time was right we decided to go with Skylight blinds. My advice to anyone who decide to purchase an electric blind is to measure measure and then measure again. Don't be frightened to ask questions to your potential supplier and if your unsure about the project your undertaking ask. These people, behind the automated service are really good and know the business. I'm afraid that being older, I just needed some reassurances of which they supplied. My advice to Skylight Blinds is be patient, chill out on chasing orders as your very good without that.

Sky blind works well and delivered in reasonable time. When arrived I tried to assemble and remote control did not work. I contacted by phone messages etc but it took 2 days for a response, very poor customer care.
