“My ceiling mounted blind works well after some adjustments to the fittings. The blind dimensions were spot on and fitted the space nicely. I used screws instead of the pins supplied at the roller wall fittings as the pins seemed very flimsy and I put extra screws along the side rails as advised in the instructions. Pulling the blind open works best when holding both sides of the blind. It is effective as a sun shield and I can recommend it and Skylightblinds Direct with confidence.”

“Good quality product. Needs two people to install safely even with nails to help support. Used plasterboard rawplugs but the heads on the screws protruded slightly so not allowing the plastic runner to move over them. Had to make the holes in the product slightly larger to allow the screw to be tightened. One suggestion - if the holes in the product were made into slots it would have made it easier to install having a little bit of movement”

“Great product. Had a high velux and needed a solution to block the sun on these hot days! Good quality and easy to fit if on floor lever, not so easy 4m up but I got there. Almost a month to deliver so gave 4 star. Would I buy again?absolutely if it lasts. Luke”

“The blind is effective. However: It was very expensive for such a simple design; It arrived with no instructions; and The pole is flimsy when fully extended. I’ve needed to keep mine shortened so that it feels stronger”

“The blind is great - thanks. The only negative is the cost, as the price seems high for what is basically a four sided aluminium frame with a corded pleated blind. Our 2.33 metre x 1.30 metre blind is only secured with 4 screws - very little weight.”

“The measurement and order process for this self assembly and installation latern blind is very comprehensive and precise and the resulting effect is very good. However the assembly and installation guide would benefit from a review and reworking from the user point view. Inspite of this minor reservation the end result is very satisfactory.”

“Very happy with the blinds i ordered. Fitment was perfect, i would suggest supplying longer screws for fixing frame into place. Other than that very happy. Promt delivery aswell.”

“Really easy to order - good quality and better value than a lot of other places. The only thing I wish I'd done is considered the fact the skylight is high, so opening and closing a non-electric blind is tricky. Maybe a reminder on the webpage would be beneficial, to say when ordering 'for blinds you cannot reach manually, consider electric' be good for your sales too! ;-)”
