Dear Raed We have recently lost over 95% of our staff due to the current crisis and the remaining staff are doing their best, working from home. We have no record of an email from you. Poor communication, don’t buy if your order is needed in under a week to 10 days unless you pay more money, and refunds can take up to 30 days. Ordered exactly the same from another company, arrived in 2 days. Not impressed.

Dear Miss Clark Thank you for your feedback. Im sorry that you felt the service you had received was worthy of only a one star rating. The ceramic sink you purchased was selected with a hold cut. This means we take the sink out of the box and set this up in an area to knock out the tap hole. This is a difficult task to ensure the sink is not damaged and can take an extra day to complete. The FREE delivery service is specifically aimed at customers who do not need the product for a specific time or day. Our website clearly shows the average delivery time for this service is up to 5 working days. For many smaller products such as taps and stainless steel sinks, FREE delivery can be as quick as 1-2 days. As the products are massively discounted, we also cannot afford to offer a premium delivery service. The standard FREE pallet delivery service is a very expensive method of delivering fragile goods and any upgrade in speed does carry a small surcharge. Your full refund was also completed within just 3 DAYS of you cancelling your order, not 30 days as you have stated in your review.

We ordered taps and paid additional delivery for next day delivery on the 14 December. On the 17 December we had an email saying they were delayed and would be delivered on 20 December. Despite emailing them we have had no contact from them and it is now 27 December

The order was sent and accepted but no delivery when expected, I have sent an email asking what is happening but with no response.so far things are not as expected.

Hi Nigel We are really sorry. Our system sent an email the day after you placed the order to advise you that the model had been upgraded asking if you wanted to accept this slight change. Clearly this wasn't received and we should have called you after a few days of not receiving a reply. Please accept our sincere apologies for this breakdown in communication.

Dear Peter The basket you ordered was shown online as a Special Order item which takes approx 2 weeks for delivery, hence the reason why it hasn't arrived sooner. Apologies if you missed this information and didn't realise the leadtime.

I ordered from this company recently and there was a mix up with the delivery address. I found the customer service assistant very rude and unhelpful and will not be ordering from here again.

Dear Mrs Gerrard Thank you for your feedback. We are very surprised to see that you feel it fair to leave a negative review when you put your address on your order incorrectly. You live in Nottingham and yet filled in part of your address as Glasgow. We paid for DPD to take the parcel to Nottingham only to find they couldn't locate your address. They then transferred your parcel to the Glasgow depot as they managed to locate the company from the 1st two lines of the address you completed. DPD then issued a notice to redeliver to the correct address at a cost of £12. You refused to pay this charge and told a member of our staff that we should pay it. When we politely advised we had already paid for the parcel to be sent to Nottingham and then again to Glasgow and couldn't now cover a third charge back to Nottingham, you decided to cancel the order and demanded a refund. Whilst we do everything we can to be fair and reasonable, it is the customers responsibility to complete an order online with their actual correct address. Paying for two wasted trips and making a loss on the order, we thought was fair. I'm sorry you don't agree and can only apologise if you think this it was an unreasonable request for you to complete your address correctly.

Hi Faith The product you ordered was showing online as an average of 2 weeks delivery when you placed the order. Most products are available for immediate delivery. However, some models are not available due to stock/manufacturing delays but this information is clearly shown at the time you place your order.

I’m happy with my purchase however I was charged a premium for next day delivery and received part of my order 2 days later although I was called nothing has been done about it I would like my delivery refunded.

Dear Bara Thank you for your feedback. Im afraid that standard refunds can take up to 4 weeks depending on the volume of requests in the system. Your particular refund did take 4 weeks from the date at which the item was returned. The delay was related to the investigation into the reported product fault as it was inspected before dispatch and was not reported as faulty or damaged. Any product that is returned damaged has to go through this procedure and can I'm afraid add a small amount of additional time to complete.

My order for a blanco sink on line was accepted and I only discovered it was supposedly discontinued when it remained pending after the expected delivery date. I received no information on the matter; the email you said I was sent I did not receive. The replacement reginox sink is disappointing. As fitted above the work top it presents a sharp edge on the work top. It is not satisfactory to have the same design for under and over the work top I am still waiting to have the price refund settled. The only redeeming feature of Sinks and Taps is they did send the replacement sink the next day.

Ordered a tap online which was supposed to be delivered in 5 working days. Heard nothing and started to panic as we’d booked for our worktops to be measured. I contacted customer services to find out what was going on, I was dealt with by a very rude representative who told me the tap wasn’t even in the country and would take 6 weeks!!! Subsequently had to cancel my order and pay a premium for next day delivery elsewhere. Would not recommend this company!!!!

I wrote a review before and it doesn't appear to be here? am I wasting my time. ?? The product I purchased and paid delivery for 3 months ago was not sent , does that not make me a verified customer? False advertising is what I am charging this company with as they claim to be able to send things overseas but didn't do it for reasons they only know , I suspect they had underquoted on the delivery price and reneged on the supply of the item. I didn't find this out till I called after a month and was told the item was to big for their shipper. Now we all know you can ship almost anything almost anywhere these days, so a small Kitchen sink shouldn't be that hard to Australia. I have the sink now , I found it online on ebay and was shipped within 10 days and was about 30% cheaper than sinks and taps . also the delivery was not 150 pounds it was 66 pounds. A little effort from sinks and taps could have avoided this debarkle, and don't bother asking for a refund , I had to go through paypal to get my money back after 3 months. AVOID OVERSEAS CUSTOMERS.

Dear Clive I would like to just clarify the situation. We send lots of products to Australia and have many happy customers who have received products over the last 15 years. The product you purchased was not a small item - it was a large corner kitchen sink. The issue occurred when our warehouse repacked the item as the original packaging was not adequate and the sink would have most likely arrived damaged. Once all items were wrapped and double boxed the courier we have a contract with, refused to accept the item as it exceeded their volumetric limits. You had also asked if we would put a tap you had bought elsewhere in with the sink to save you further shipping costs. Even though it wasn't bought from us, we agreed to do this as a gesture of goodwill. We have contracts in place and although there may have been a courier somewhere who would accept the item, we were not able to arrange this. We did offer for you to have a courier collect from us or a full refund. You did advise Paypal that you did not receive the item but we had already processed the refund ourselves. Clearly we are sorry for any inconvenience caused. We genuinely we're only trying to help and our priority was to ensure the sink arrived with you in perfect condition. Terrible service from this company. Spoke on 'Live Chat' to confirm that kitchen sink was in stock as I had to receive it by a certain date due to kitchen fitting. Also checked that it would be delivered on a stated day that I paid extra for. Sink didn't arrive. When I rang to find out what was wrong the sales assistant was very rude. He told me they'd tried to contact me but they'd spelt my email address wrong but no apology. Even when the email had bounced back to them they still didn't bother to inform me I'd get no sink. When I complained and said they'd left me in a terrible situation as I had a plumber arriving and I'd no sink I was told that I didn't live in the real world and mistakes happen. Their website said the item was in stock, the live chat sales person said the item was in stock and I paid extra for delivery. The sink was not in stock and on the date of my call I was also told I'd have to wait another week. Don't trust them. They lie!!!

Dear Samantha Please accept our apologies for the issue with your sink order. When you enquired about the sink we were showing only one in stock. So when the member of staff on live chat advised you that we had the product in stock, this was correct based on the information they were looking at on screen. However, when we came to pick the sink in our warehouse, the item we expected to find on the shelf was not there. We immediately emailed you some options included a free upgrade to a more expensive alternative. A member of our team missed an 'L' from your email address and unfortunately the email was not received. We really are very sorry for the inconvenience this error caused. We have raised the issue with the staff concerned and hopefully we can find a way of ensuring this does not happen again in the future. Kind Regards, Paul.

After placing my order for taps to be delivered in 2-3 days I was told they could not fulfill the order for 6-7 weeks. I asked to be refunded the £179 as that was too long to wait and 2 weeks later and numerous telephone conversations I am still waiting for a refund on an order they could not fulfill. Not happy being given false information of a refund being processed when it clearly hasn’t.

Poor service as a result of a misplaced tap at the DPD depot. This took more than a week to resolve and I still not have the tap yet having ordered well over week ago. No one has had the decency to explain why this was lost or even an apology. It took regular chasing to get this order reinstated.

Hi Simon. I'm afraid that even though we sent your kitchen tap out within just 2 days - DPD lost it in transit. However, we did send you a replacement on an express service which arrived within another 48hrs. Apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.
