Hi, I bought 2 identiical stainless steel pink flower mugs which look absolutely gorgeous for gifts. Price I felt was very good I was under the impression they were leak proof But on giving the first one to my sister I discovered the lid does not seal to make it leak proof and so on our first car journey using the mugs it spilt all over the floor when it fell over. Huge disappointment for my sister and me. She loved the pink flower design and packaging. Very little instructions other than on cap which said press down and twist to close. But this achieved zero result. So hence the poor rating. I was very excited when I discovered your website. But sadly the gorgeously designed travel mug was a huge disappointment as it did not fulfill the purpose it was bought for... Thank you

It keeps food hot which is good. The spoon is flimsy and difficult to fit back into its place. The flask would be better with somewhere to serve the food.

Would love to leave a great review but soup cold after 3 hours not cold but lukewarm even after filling with boiling water for 10 minutes

Purchased a flask with a straw lid. The valve fell out after a day of usage but was told this was not a fault, even though this meant that the drink would pour through the hole and onto the person who was drinking it. Ellie from Sho said she would send me some replacement valves. Still adamant that it wasn’t a fault and perfectly normal for the valve to fall out and for the item to still be used. The valves didn’t fit correctly. Sent several pictures and videos. Was told I was putting the valve up the wrong way…. I wasn’t. Sent more pictures and videos after Ellie sent me another email stating that the valve had to be the flat end at the top. Bearing in mind that I had already done this. This is pretty time consuming and the fact I was told it’s not a design fault is questionable. I have asked to return the straw lid but Ellie is still telling me it’s not a design fault. I do not have this much time in my life to be making up stories that valves do not fit correctly. This is poor customer service.

Hello Kerry, Thanks for your review. The Straw Lid valves are designed to be removed for ease of cleaning and do just rest in the top of the Straw Lid. Apologies for any confusion caused. However, I can see that we've now refunded your Straw Lid as a goodwill gesture. Best wishes, Ellie

Nice looking bottle but within No time it started leaking. In fact the lid blew off and soaked my gym bag! Still waiting for a response from SHO…

Hi Simon, We got back to your email on the 17th March. It may be worth checking your spam just in case it's fallen in there. I can see that you advised us that you'd been using fizzy drinks inside your bottle. We do not advise putting fizzy drinks inside a vacuum bottle as it cannot expand to account for the pressure build-up like a plastic bottle would which can lead to a 'champagne cork' moment like what you've described. Ordered 3 larger water flasks with the navy powder coated lids for better grip. They all arrived with chrome lids. Customer service said there must have been a glitch on the site, and I would have to buy 3 more lids to get the purchases I had chosen. Disappointed with the after sales service as I didn’t receive what I paid for. Site now reads that these bottles come with chrome lids. I sent screenshots of site for details of my orders with the navy lids but no resolution offered to exchange lids. They are nice bottles apart from this issue.

The calix coffee cup lid is not suitable for hot drinks - as advised by Sho my wife burnt her lip upon use we decided to bin the reusable cups

Due to the nature of an insulated product, we recommend that you do not use freshly boiled water if you want to drink from your Calix straight away as the drink will not cool down to a perfect drinking temperature for a very long time. To be able to drink your drink straight away, we recommend either letting the boiling water cool before making your drink or leaving the lid off to allow it to cool to a more comfortable temperature before drinking it. A good way of looking at this is if the lid is too hot to drink from then the liquid inside the Calix will to hot to drink from too. I brought the food flask and used it as directed. The food is only warm at lunch time so very disappointed as pipping hot when first put in flask

Hi Lorraine, I'm really sorry to hear this. As long as the Food Flask is being preheated, completely filled to the top and the food is put in as hot as possible, it should be keeping your food hot for up to 10 hours. Ordered the travel mug which arrived damaged first time. This was quickly replaced for me and the customer service was excellent. The item is very attractive and would make a nice gift. However, the lid gets extremely hot and makes it impossible to drink hot liquids unless you want to burn your lips. There is a small warning sticker on the lid but what is the point of a travel mug if you have to take the lid off?

After buying the Calix, I must say I am slightly disappointed with the food flask. The Calix although it doesn’t close and seal, will keep my drink scolding hot for hours. However the food flask doesn’t do the same, which I would expect it to as it’s closed and sealed. Would I recommend, yes, as long as you aren’t expecting it to keep your food hot for the states 10 hours.

I bought 4 SHO bottles in total now, one of them doesn't keep the liquid hot whether tea or coffee. Fluid gets warm then cold quickly. While the other 3 bottles are ok and serve the purpose.
