“Very simple online service to use,”

“Would have give 5 but I was telephoned shortly after applying & in the process of providing funds asking a security question to which I declined to answer & was told an e-mail would be sent instead. On receipt of the e-mail the question was asked whether I had received all the appropriate forms to complete my application. I can understand asking secuirty question but was it necessary for such a general topic?”

“I am a believer in the mutual principle and was attracted by a competitive interest rate for a long term bond and pleased with the straightforward documentation required to open an account. The response from the friendly society was prompt which augers well but found the questioning about the Society's performance irritating; my opinion of the Society will take loonger to form.”

“Finding answers to my questions and then opening an ISA online was easy and straightforward. The only thing I was missing was an overview of past performance - there are no figures or graphs, just a statement that they have managed to pay a bonus every year since a certain product was launched.”
